Rumor expert Majin Bu said that, based on the information he has, Apple will announce the iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 15 Ultra at the Wonderlust event on September 12. Majin Bu said he has a copy of the case that is said to be for the iPhone 15 Ultra.

Previous rumors indicated that the iPhone Ultra was just a rebranded version of the Pro Max. However, if Majin Bu's information is true, the Ultra is essentially a completely new standalone iPhone model that is even more advanced than the Pro Max in terms of configuration and price.

On an X thread (formerly Twitter), Majin Bu shared his information in line with what case manufacturers have revealed. Accordingly, since early 2023, there have been rumors that the Pro Max is no longer the best iPhone version.

According to Majin Bu, the iPhone 15 Pro Max will use 6GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. Meanwhile, the iPhone 15 Ultra uses 8GB of RAM, up to 2TB of storage, and has many better camera features.

This is the only rumor that suggests the iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 15 Ultra will launch together. Other rumors believe that Apple will introduce four iPhone 15 models this year, including the standard iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
