Instructions for people to ensure their health when watching parades and marches

To ensure safety and prevent unwanted incidents from occurring when crowds gather on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management has just issued some notes to the public.

Before attending the parade

1. Determine the appropriate time to attend, do not arrive too early the afternoon before.

2. Dress neatly and politely.

3. Wear shoes or sandals with straps, avoid high heels and slippers.

4. Bring drinks and snacks.

5. Bring lightweight accessories to protect against sun and rain such as: umbrella, hat, hand fan...

6. Actively monitor your health status to choose the right place to attend.

While attending

1. Avoid jostling and pushing.

2. Don't get too excited, avoid arguing and screaming.

3. Through APP A80 or observation, identify the nearest medical stations where you are standing to have a plan for yourself or those around you when there is a situation that requires medical care support.

In case of emergency

1. Stay calm and listen to the announcement from the authorities.

2. Do not panic, run or push.

4. Comply with the instructions of security forces and guards.

5. Go with the flow, keep your posture steady, do not try to go against the flow.

6. Observe the exit, quickly leave the danger area.

When caught up in the crowd

1. Stay calm, don't scream in panic.

2. Keep your hands in front of your chest: Protect your lungs and avoid suffocation.

3. Take short steps to follow the flow of people.

4. Do not stop in the middle of the crowd.

5. If you fall: Protect your head, cover your head; bend over to protect vital organs; find an opportunity to stand up as soon as possible.

The Ministry of Health recommends that safety is the top priority. If you feel unsafe, leave the crowded area immediately.
