Meeting of the Council for voting for typical rural industrial products of Lai Chau province in 2025

(laichau.gov.vn) This afternoon (August 29), the Council for the Selection of Outstanding Rural Industrial Products of Lai Chau Province in 2025 (the Selection Council) held a meeting to select Outstanding Rural Industrial Products of Lai Chau Province in 2025 and select products to participate in the selection of Outstanding Rural Industrial Products of the higher level. Comrade Dong Van Thuc - Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, Vice Chairman of the Standing Selection Council chaired the meeting.

At the meeting, the representative of the Standing Committee of the Voting Council reported the results of scoring and voting for typical rural industrial products of Lai Chau province in 2025. Accordingly, from June 2, 2025 to June 20, 2025, the Document Reception Department at the Lai Chau Provincial Industrial Promotion Center received 34/35 product dossiers and product sets participating in the voting, which were agricultural, forestry and food processing products and other product groups of 16 rural industrial establishments in the province. The results of the dossier appraisal showed that 32/34 dossiers met the requirements and were eligible to participate in scoring and voting of 14 rural industrial establishments.

The voting council has established a Jury to vote for typical rural industrial products in 2025 and held a meeting to score 32 products and product sets participating in the 2025 voting.

Based on the scoring results of the members, the Jury unanimously selected 15 products and product sets that were eligible to be submitted to the Voting Council for consideration and submission to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the issuance of the Certificate of Outstanding Rural Industrial Products of Lai Chau Province in 2025.

The organization of the selection of rural industrial products of Lai Chau province in 2025 aims to discover and honor products with high quality, high usage value, potential for development and expansion of production, market expansion, meeting the tastes of domestic and foreign consumers; at the same time, select typical rural industrial products of the province to participate in the regional and national selection. Encourage and motivate industrial production establishments to promote technological innovation, apply advanced machinery in production, in order to improve product quality associated with the development of raw material areas, contributing to the development of rural industry. Create opportunities to introduce and promote typical products so that rural industrial establishments have the opportunity to exchange experiences, cooperate in investment and market development, take advantage of available raw materials in the locality, solve jobs for workers, contribute to the socio -economic development of the province.

Concluding the meeting, Comrade Dong Van Thuc - Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, Vice Chairman of the Standing Voting Council requested: The Voting Council's support department coordinates with functional departments and industrial establishments to complete related procedures to submit to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for recognition of typical rural industrial products of Lai Chau province in 2025; at the same time, complete the registration procedures for participating in the voting for products that have been unanimously voted by the Voting Council to participate in the voting for typical rural industrial products at the higher level in 2025 according to regulations.

At the end of the meeting, the members of the Voting Council voted to select 13 typical rural industrial products of Lai Chau province in 2025 and selected 5 products to participate in the vote for typical rural industrial products at the higher level in 2025.
