Press conference on the 8th session of the 19th Provincial People's Council

Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Le Thi Thanh Tra chaired the press conference.

Attending the press conference were leaders and representatives of local press agencies, representatives of the Department of Information and Communications, news agencies and press agencies residing in the area.

The 8th session of the 19th Provincial People's Council is expected to take place over 4 days (from July 1 to 4, 2024) at the Provincial Convention Center, with 3 sessions: Internal session, opening session, official sessions, and closing session.

The meeting was broadcast live by Tuyen Quang Newspaper and the provincial Radio and Television Station on the official session all day July 2, the morning of July 3 and the morning of July 4.

At this session, the provincial People's Council delegates listened to reports from the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee; inspection reports from the Provincial People's Council Committees; the Provincial People's Procuracy; the Provincial People's Court, the Provincial Civil Judgment Enforcement Agency; Notice of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee on government building activities in the first 6 months of the year and key tasks in the last 6 months of 2024; report of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation on the results of the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly and the activities of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation at the session.

Provincial People's Council delegates discussed at the hall the results of implementing socio -economic development tasks, ensuring national defense and security in the first 6 months of 2024; directions, tasks and solutions for socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security in the last 6 months of 2024.

This session will also pass important draft resolutions such as: Regulations on the content and tasks of expenditures for maintenance, repair and urgent handling of dike incidents in the province; Regulations on support policies for cadres, civil servants, public employees and redundant workers due to the rearrangement of administrative units at district and commune levels in the period 2023 - 2030 in the province...

Speaking at the press conference, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Le Thi Thanh Tra requested that the Office and the Provincial People's Council committees coordinate well with press agencies, provide sufficient documents, create favorable conditions for press agencies to work, especially working at discussion groups; requested that the Office of the Provincial People's Council thoroughly instruct delegates to pay attention to their attire and awareness when attending the session, and create favorable conditions for press agencies to interview and work.

He requested that press agencies continue to coordinate with the Provincial People's Council, closely follow developments before, during and after the session to promptly, fully and accurately inform voters about the contents and programs.
