More than 9,000 candidates skip graduation exam procedures

The Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) said that in the 2025 high school graduation exam, the whole country has a total of 1,162,134 candidates registered for the exam. Of which, 24,951 candidates registered for the 2006 General Education Program; 1,135,432 candidates registered for the 2018 General Education Program.

Statistics show that at the end of the exam registration procedure this afternoon, the whole country had 1,152,336 candidates coming to complete the exam procedures, reaching a rate of 99.16%. Of which, the 2006 General Education Program had 22,140 candidates, reaching a rate of 88.73%. The 2018 General Education Program had 1,130,196 candidates, reaching a rate of 99.54%.

Thus, during the exam registration procedure, nationwide there were 9,798 candidates who did not come to complete the exam registration procedure.

Tomorrow - June 26, candidates will officially take the high school graduation exam with the first subject being Literature with a duration of 120 minutes. In the afternoon, candidates will take the Math exam for 90 minutes. On the morning of June 27, candidates will continue to take the elective subject exam for 50 minutes.

According to regulations, candidates must be present at the examination site on time to take the exam. If they arrive more than 15 minutes late from the time the exam starts, they will not be allowed to take the exam.

For essay subjects, candidates are only allowed to leave the room after 2/3 of the test time has been completed and must submit their test papers, test questions and scratch paper. For multiple choice subjects, candidates are not allowed to leave the room during the test and between the combined subjects.

Levels of handling candidates when violating exam regulations

Reprimand: For candidates who commit a mistake once; look at or exchange papers with other candidates. This form is decided by the Supervisor in the minutes.

Warning: For candidates who commit one of the following violations: Having been reprimanded once but during the exam, they continue to violate the Examination Regulations at the level of reprimand; exchanging test papers or scratch paper with other candidates; copying another candidate's test or allowing another candidate to copy their test. The form of warning disciplinary action is decided by the Supervisor in the minutes drawn up, with evidence (if any).

Suspension of the exam for candidates who violate one of the following errors: Having been disciplined with a warning once but still continue to violate the exam regulations at the level of reprimand or warning; carrying illegal items according to regulations; having actions of quarreling, threatening those responsible for the exam or threatening other candidates; not following the instructions of the invigilator, etc. The invigilator makes a record, collects the evidence (if any) and reports to the Head of the Examination Site to decide on the form of suspension. Candidates who are suspended from the exam in a year will have the results of all exams/subjects in that year's exam canceled.

Cancel the exam results and prepare a file to send to the competent authority for consideration and handling according to the provisions of law for candidates who violate one of the following errors: Forging documents to enjoy preferential or incentive regimes; using illegal diplomas and certificates; letting others take the exam or do the test for them in any form; causing disturbance or sabotaging the exam; assaulting those participating in the exam organization or other candidates; using illegal exam result certificates.
