More than 300 trainees trained in "AI application for journalists" - Cao Bang Electronic Newspaper

On June 5, the Center for Journalism Training, Vietnam Journalists Association organized an online training course on "Application of AI for journalists". Attending the course were comrade Le Quoc Minh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, President of Vietnam Journalists Association.

The training course attracted more than 300 trainees who are reporters and editors from central and local press agencies.

During the 2 days (from June 5 to 6), the training course was delivered by lecturers from ZTO Labs Technology Company with the following contents: Overview of AI and script writing skills; Exploring data visualization with AI; In-depth text processing and multimedia processing; AI information verification and virtual assistants. Access to knowledge and skills on producing and developing press content on digital platforms as well as applying artificial intelligence to optimize workflows.

At the training class, trainees directly interacted with lectures on AI tools; participated in discussions and shared experiences in applying technology in journalism activities; discussed and evaluated the difficulties and challenges of a press agency when developing artificial intelligence; and found optimal solutions to help press agencies effectively apply AI in producing press products.

Through training, the aim is to improve the professional qualifications and skills of staff, reporters and editors of press agencies to access technology, thereby promoting the development of journalism in the digital age.
