This is one of the activities included in the meaningful journey back to the source at ATK Dinh Hoa Thai Nguyen on the occasion of the 98th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2023) organized by the Vietnam Journalists Association .
Journalist Phan Huu Minh, former member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association, former Head of the Inspection Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association, introduced the relic site.
Accordingly, the delegation visited the National Historical Site of Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism School (Tan Thai Commune, Dai Tu District). 74 years ago (April 4, 1949), when the resistance war against French colonialism was in a fierce and difficult phase, President Ho Chi Minh founded, named and instructed the Viet Minh General Department to establish Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism School with comrade Do Duc Duc, Deputy Secretary of the Viet Minh General Department as Director, and comrade Xuan Thuy as Deputy Director.
Due to the war situation, the school was only able to organize a short-term course with 42 students who were political , military and press cadres from all over the country; the lecturers of the class were all leaders with rich political experience, rich life experiences and famous cultural and artistic activists such as: Truong Chinh, Vo Nguyen Giap, Hoang Quoc Viet, Tran Huy Lieu, To Huu, Nam Cao, The Lu...
Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism School is a typical example of serious teaching and learning despite the extremely difficult resistance war situation. 42 students and 29 lecturers are truly the core of revolutionary journalism, contributing greatly to the glorious history of the country's journalism.

Informing the delegation, journalist Phan Huu Minh, former member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association, former Head of the Inspection Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association, said that the school only had 42 students studying for 3 months, and during those 3 months, Uncle Ho sent letters twice. The letters he sent to the class were extremely valuable handbooks for journalists.
"Today (April 4, 2019), at the 70th Anniversary of Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism School, the Decision to rank the Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism School as a National Historical Relic was announced. The site is currently about 857 square meters in size out of a total area of about 2,000 square meters. This will be both a museum, a relic, and a meeting place for journalists from all over the country" - journalist Phan Huu Minh shared.
Journalist Huynh Thuy Kieu - editor of Ca Mau Literature and Arts Magazine said, this is the first time coming to Thai Nguyen and the national historical site of Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism School, I am really moved and understand more about the first place to teach journalism of Vietnam's revolutionary press, this is a rare opportunity in my life. As a member from Ca Mau, this occasion has given me great encouragement and motivation. Vietnam's revolutionary press has trained and formed famous journalists from Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism School.

Every sentence and word published by journalists must carry the great mission of journalists, it is a heavy responsibility in the era of digital technology and social network development like today.
Speaking at the visit to the source, journalist Tran Trong Dung - Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association said that this delegation included many members and journalists working at press agencies in the South, the farthest place in the country, to visit the Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism School. This was the first place to teach journalism during the resistance war in Vietnam.

The Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association said that in the projects of the Vietnam Journalists Association, there are plans to build relic sites and arrange funds to prepare the site. Hopefully, the project will be implemented to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025).
