National online conference on organizing the 2025 high school graduation exam

On the afternoon of June 18, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired and directed a national online conference on the organization of the 2025 high school graduation exam. Also attending were Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son, Head of the National Steering Committee for the exam; leaders of ministries and central agencies. At the Khanh Hoa bridge, Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Tan Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Dinh Van Thieu - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for the high school graduation exam of the province attended.

The 2025 high school graduation exam will take place on June 26 and 27, with June 28 being the backup exam date. This is the largest exam ever with more than 1.16 million candidates nationwide participating, including more than 1.13 million candidates taking the 2018 General Education Program and more than 26,700 candidates taking the 2006 General Education Program. There are a total of 2,493 exam sites with 50,039 exam rooms, with an expected 200,000 officials, teachers, police, military, medical staff, etc. mobilized to participate in the exam organization. The exam preparation work has been proactively deployed by the Ministry of Education and Training and localities early on. In Khanh Hoa, the whole province has 14,780 candidates registered for the exam, including 14,537 candidates taking the 2018 General Education Program and 243 candidates taking the 2006 General Education Program, with a total of 35 exam locations in districts, towns and cities.

Speaking at the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested the Ministry ofEducation and Training to continue to coordinate with ministries, branches and localities to prepare well for the exam in all aspects. In particular, ensuring absolute safety in all stages of the exam, preventing negativity and cheating, especially high-tech cheating; assigning specific and clear tasks; promoting the sense of responsibility of management levels in organizing implementation, not leaving gaps or lax management, especially in the period of converting the 2-level local government organization model. In addition, ensuring the most favorable conditions for candidates, not allowing any candidate to drop out of the exam for subjective reasons; encouraging localities to provide maximum support for candidates in traveling and accommodation, especially candidates in remote areas and candidates with difficult circumstances. At the same time, do a good job of propaganda, have proactive plans to promptly handle problems arising during the exam organization process, ensuring that the exam takes place safely, smoothly, seriously and effectively.
