The summer camp took place at Hoang Le Kha High School for the Gifted (Tan Ninh Ward, Tay Ninh Province). This was also the first time Tay Ninh hosted this exciting and useful traditional playground. The summer camp was attended by 659 students, 357 administrators and teachers from 29 high schools in the Southern region.

At the end of the summer camp, the Organizing Committee awarded 47 prizes to teachers participating in the in-depth writing contest, including: 9 First prizes, 9 Second prizes and 29 Third prizes. At the same time, 99 Gold Medals, 198 Silver Medals and 225 Bronze Medals were awarded to students with high achievements in the Olympiad exams in various subjects.

Ca Mau province alone had over 100 students, administrators and teachers from 3 participating units: Bac Lieu High School for the Gifted, Phan Ngoc Hien High School for the Gifted and Dam Doi High School. At the end of the summer camp, Ca Mau students won 58 medals, including: 8 Gold Medals, 22 Silver Medals and 28 Bronze Medals. Specifically: Bac Lieu High School for the Gifted won 22 medals (4 Gold Medals, 6 Silver Medals, 12 Bronze Medals); Phan Ngoc Hien High School for the Gifted won 24 medals (3 Gold, 12 Silver, 9 Bronze); Dam Doi High School won 12 medals (1 Gold, 4 Silver, 7 Bronze)

This is an annual activity of high schools in the region, an academic playground, contributing to fostering and developing professional talents for teachers and students in the system of specialized schools and high schools in the Southern region.

During the summer camp, students will participate in Olympic competitions in subjects, visit historical and tourist sites in Tay Ninh, participate in cultural and artistic exchanges, and managers and teachers will attend seminars. These activities aim to contribute solutions and good experiences in human resource training, meeting the requirements of regional and international integration. Through the summer camp, students will gain more useful knowledge, practical skills, exchange, learn, and strengthen friendships among students from localities in the region.

The 9th Southern Summer Camp in 2026 will be hosted by the Department of Education and Training of Vinh Long province.
