On the morning of June 18, giving his opinion on the discussion, delegate, monk Thich Thanh Quyet ( Quang Ninh ) stated that the year 2025 is very special, and has and will celebrate major national holidays.
Give them a final blessing so that the whole country can be happy and united.
The monk cited the fact that on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the Party's founding and the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh, with the permission of the authorities, the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha successfully organized the Vesak Festival, contributing to promoting the image of Vietnam in the world .
In particular, the procession of Buddha Shakyamuni's relics from India for worship left a deep impression on the people and the procession of Bodhisattva Thich Quang Duc's heart relicstaught the patriotic tradition of Vietnamese Buddhism.
"This is an immortal heart, a patriotic heart, a peaceful heart, a heart that is crystallized with compassion, joy, forgiveness, selflessness and altruism. Those meaningful deeds make people believe in the Party and the State more. This is a spiritual resource to build the country," said the monk.
According to monk Thich Thanh Quyet, history has recorded that whenever the country had major events, the previous emperors often did very special things, showing tolerance, humanity, and benevolence.
As the whole country prepares to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day, the monk proposed that the leaders of the Party, State, and Vietnam Fatherland Front organize a "general amnesty for prisoners".
"Only once every 80 years. If you're wrong, you're wrong. If you lose, there's nothing left to lose. It's too late to regret.
"Create for them a final blessing so that the whole country can be joyful, united, and lighten its burden to step into a new era, an era of great success," said monk Thich Thanh Quyet.

Proposal to soon realize the policy of free hospital treatment for all people
Delegate Nguyen Thi Quyen Thanh (Vinh Long) proposed to soon realize the policy of free hospital treatment for all people. This is one of the breakthroughs in Vietnam's health policy, with the desire to achieve the goal of not leaving anyone behind.
She hopes the Government will pay attention and soon have a policy mechanism to support periodic health check-ups for the elderly and people with disabilities from 2026. Then there will be a roadmap each year until 2030 for other priority groups so that all people are exempt from hospital fees.
In particular, people with disabilities will be given the best conditions to access medical services, rehabilitation, health care, physical and mental health in a timely manner.
Delegate Nguyen Anh Tri (Hanoi) pointed out that to implement the very humane policy of free medical examination and treatment for all people, we still have to rely on health insurance.
Because in essence, the State supports the people, through helping to supplement funding to increase the health insurance fund.
Ensure that patients can use the best medical services without having to pay extra.
He suggested dividing beneficiaries into priority groups that already exist, such as children under 6 years old, families with revolutionary contributions, the elderly...
Deploy immediately for those who are seriously ill, in a long-term critical condition and he suggested that this group could be deployed from 2026.
At the same time, it is necessary to ensure adequate supply of drugs, chemicals, and biological products for patients. Improve the quality of medical examination and treatment with many tasks, including paying attention to regularly supplementing new drugs, updating modern diagnostic and treatment protocols, and applying new technologies...
"Perhaps we should rebuild the approval process for bringing it into Vietnamese medicine in a more serious but open way," Mr. Tri suggested.
He proposed to implement progressive contents in the revised Law on Medical Examination and Treatment and the revised Law on Health Insurance such as remote medical examination and treatment, no geographical limitations...
In addition, he proposed that health insurance should pay for disease prevention to screen for congenital genetic diseases, especially periodic health check-ups for people, especially those in remote areas, ethnic minorities, the poor...
With a series of new health policies and the implementation of free medical examination and treatment for all people, Mr. Tri said it will be very convenient for medical examination and treatment activities of public hospitals.
However, he hopes that the Ministry of Health will review the autonomy policy in public hospitals to avoid the phenomenon of privatization of hospitals, which affects the people's rights to medical examination and treatment.
