Hoa Phat donated 67 water purifiers, spreading the "Journey of Water" in Quang Ngai

(Baoquangngai.vn)- With the goal of bringing clean water to students in disadvantaged areas, Hoa Phat Group has just completed phase 2 of the "Journey of Water" program, donating 67 water purifiers to schools in mountainous and delta areas of Quang Ngai province.

Previously, by the end of September 2024, 19 water purifiers had been handed over to teachers and students at 12 schools in the communes of Binh Thuan, Binh Hai, Binh Phuoc , and Binh Dong (Binh Son).

During this donation, many schools in remote areas have access to clean water, contributing to improving living and learning conditions for students.

“Water Journey” is a corporate social responsibility (CSR) program of Hoa Phat Group, associated with the “30 Days of Health” running race. The program attracted 6,124 employees to participate, with each km run converted into 5,000 VND to raise funds. After 30 days, the race has accumulated more than 3 billion VND, equivalent to 300 water purifiers, gradually building a clean water map, improving the quality of life in disadvantaged localities across the country.

Hoa Phat water purifier not only brings convenience but also ensures absolutely safe drinking water quality. The product is equipped with a 10-12 core filter system, meeting national standards QCVN 6-1: 2010 / BYT of the Ministry of Health , using American RO membrane technology meeting NSF / ANSI 58 standards of the World Health Organization (WHO), helping to eliminate 99.99% of bacteria.

According to the plan, in the first phase, by the end of September 2024, Hoa Phat has donated a total of 139 water purifiers to schools from North to South, especially in difficult areas such as: Ha Giang, Yen Bai, Cao Bang, Thai Nguyen, Hoa Binh, Hung Yen, Phu Tho, Bac Giang, Quang Binh, Quang Ngai, Kon Tum, Lam Dong, Binh Phuoc.

In the second phase, by January 2025, Hoa Phat will donate nearly 90 water purifiers to schools, social protection facilities, and child care facilities in Quang Ngai, Hung Yen, Binh Duong, and Long An.

In the coming time, the program will continue to implement phase 3, by May 2025, donating over 80 water purifiers, bringing clean water to many localities across the country.
