Young people participating in the program "Startup Million Views - Support 20 million young people to start a business"
This is not only a training event, but also a space for learning - connecting - practicing, through practical experience activities, aiming to improve digital business capacity for the young generation, promoting a professional and humane e-commerce community.
Throughout the program, students are guided through a series of intensive training activities, combining theory and practice. In the main practical part, students are divided into small groups to complete a short video based on a self-created script. After filming, the groups conduct peer reviews of each other’s products – a form of active learning that helps broaden perspectives, cross-learn and creatively criticize. At the same time, instructors also provide specific assessments of content, images, presentation and conversion ability – helping students identify strengths, weaknesses and adjust their content strategy more effectively in the future.
Things to keep in mind when starting a business in the e-commerce environment
In the context of strong e-commerce development, digital platforms have opened up unprecedented space for the young generation to start businesses. Smartphones can now become "mobile offices", "content production studios" and "online stores" for millions of individual businesses.
However, opportunities always come with challenges. The rapid development of e-commerce also places high demands on adaptability, technological knowledge, content thinking and especially business ethics in a volatile digital environment.
Experts share at the event
Sharing at the program, Mr. Nguyen Huu Tuan, Director of eComDX Center emphasized: "To develop sustainably in e-commerce, besides creativity, young people need to pay special attention to ethics and compliance with the law".
According to Mr. Tuan, business ethics is not only about avoiding mistakes but also about being transparent and honest with customers, from product information, prices, return policies to service quality. Once trust is lost, even a potential brand can collapse. Along with ethics is the requirement to comply with the law, a fundamental factor in building a fair and transparent e-commerce environment. Mr. Tuan especially reminds young people who choose to start a business in the e-commerce environment of regulations on personal data protection, intellectual property, online advertising and fair competition; as well as giving warnings related to counterfeit goods, online fraud, unfair competition...
"Vietnam's e-commerce is on a journey of deep integration, and today's startups, if they know how to harmoniously combine technology, creativity and ethics, will be the factors that create the face of the digital economy in the future," Mr. Nguyen Huu Tuan emphasized.
