Hanoi 10th Grade Literature Exam: Candidates are happy because "the questions are close and easy to write"

After finishing the Literature exam on the morning of June 7, which was also the first exam session of the 10th grade entrance exam for Hanoi public high schools, many candidates were happy and excited because the exam questions were familiar and easy to write.

As the first candidate to leave Dong Da Secondary School, Pham Thuy Duong (a student at Dong Da Secondary School) was excited because this year's Literature exam was within her ability and not difficult. In particular, the last question worth 4 points was about "How to always find joy in school life" which was no different from Thuy Duong's "favorite question".

"Not only me, but with this topic, many people will write well, because the topic requires us to write exactly what we always think about in our daily lives," Thuy Duong excitedly shared.

Thuy Duong's first wish is to enter Le Quy Don High School. She said she hopes to get 8 points in Literature and this is also her expected score before the exam.

Tran Ngoc Bao Son (Cat Linh High School) is also happy because the Literature exam according to the new Textbook program does not require memorization, does not require "hitting the mark" but is very easy to write. "We just need to write with our emotions and our own experiences. I like this type of Literature exam. I hope I will get over 7.5 points."

Like Thuy Duong and Bao Son, many candidates breathed a sigh of relief after finishing the first exam. This also relieved the pressure on the candidates so that they could be more comfortable and excited for the next exams.

Candidates smiled and were excited at the end of the first exam session.

This afternoon, students will continue to take the Foreign Language exam for 60 minutes. Tomorrow morning, June 8, they will take the Math exam for 120 minutes. Candidates registering for the 10th grade will take an additional specialized subject on June 9.

Both father and mother are nervous about their child's exam.

Admission score for non-specialized schools is the sum of 3 subjects, without coefficient; for specialized schools, it is the sum of 4 subjects, with specialized subjects multiplied by coefficient 2.

Nearly 103,000 candidates in Hanoi entered the first exam, parents were more nervous than their children.
