Hiep Thanh: Practical activities to honor families with meritorious services

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025) and the practical organization of activities to welcome the 1st Congress of Delegates of Hiep Thanh commune, term 2025-2030, on July 27 and the previous days, many meaningful activities were organized by the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune.

In Bong Lai village, Hiep Thanh commune, the youth union members of Bong Lai Youth Union showed their pioneering spirit and proactively organized many practical activities.

Comrade Hoang Anh Tuan, Standing Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the Commune People's Council visited and gave gifts to policy families.

In addition to the summer activities, the youths also cleaned up the environment around the Martyrs’ Memorial Temple and decorated it with flags and flowers in preparation for the incense offering ceremony. This is a meaningful activity, expressing the respect and deep gratitude of the young generation for the great sacrifices of the heroic martyrs who fell on this land.

Comrade Nguyen Quang Hiep, Chairman of the Commune People's Committee, visited and presented gifts to policy families.

Also on this occasion, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hiep Thanh commune organized working delegations to visit, encourage, and give gifts to policy families and people with revolutionary contributions in the area.

Accordingly, the delegation visited Vietnamese Heroic Mother Thai Thi Tuong and 15 policy households. At the destinations, the delegation expressed deep gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of war invalids, martyrs and their families in the cause of national liberation and construction. The meaningful gifts given were not only a sharing of material things but also wishes for good health, hoping that the elderly would live long and healthy lives with their families and children.

The above activities have demonstrated the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", a fine tradition of our nation, and at the same time contributed to educating the younger generation about gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of previous generations.
