Hau Loc speeds up site clearance for projects

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - To speed up the progress of projects, especially key projects, Hau Loc district has identified site clearance as a "key" step, of utmost importance. The District Construction Investment Project Management Board - the standing body of the site clearance compensation councils - has advised the District People's Committee (investor) to establish and consolidate 38 site clearance councils for projects and works; coordinate with relevant departments and units to resolve problems related to site clearance compensation; coordinate with relevant communes and towns to do a good job of site clearance compensation, creating favorable conditions for contractors to perform their duties.

Thanks to good site clearance work, it has created favorable conditions for investors to construct infrastructure for Lien Hoa Industrial Park.

To overcome the situation where some projects are waiting for land and capital must be transferred, Hau Loc District People's Committee has developed a detailed plan and progress for site clearance for each project, especially for projects with investment capital from the State budget, infrastructure investment projects, key projects of investors, projects with great impact on socio -economic development, projects auctioning land use rights, increasing budget revenue according to the direction of the province for implementation.

The Chairman of the District People's Committee assigned the Vice Chairmen in charge of each field to regularly organize meetings, control daily progress, promptly remove difficulties and obstacles, and assign responsibility to the heads of each unit in performing assigned tasks. Along with mobilizing the entire political system to participate, the district has directed localities where the project is located to resolutely implement many solutions, focusing on advocacy, propaganda, publicity, democracy of regimes, policies, and cadastral measurement data according to the law, ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of the people when the State reclaims land; organizing dialogues with households that do not agree with the area, compensation price, and land origin during the project implementation process.

With the drastic and synchronous participation of the entire political system and creative and effective ways of doing things, Hau Loc district has mobilized the strength of the entire political system from the district down to the villages and hamlets to promote propaganda work on land acquisition and compensation for projects in the area. The district has established working groups to propagate and mobilize land acquisition and compensation for key projects such as the 500kV line 3 project through the district; Lien Hoa Industrial Cluster, Nga Son - Hoang Hoa coastal road project; Len River irrigation system sub-project under the Len River irrigation system upgrading project with Hoang Mai River to improve the ability to control salinity, improve the ecological environment and respond to climate change (KEXIM 1 project) in Hau Loc and Nga Son districts...

With the consensus and support of local people, the land acquisition and clearance work in Hau Loc district in recent times has achieved impressive results. By the end of May 2025, 41,018 hectares of land acquisition and clearance had been completed out of a total area of ​​107,416 hectares required for land acquisition and clearance in 2025, reaching 38.2% of the assigned plan. A number of large and key infrastructure projects, especially transport infrastructure, have been invested in the area in a synchronous and modern direction, opening up new development space, increasing regional connectivity, and creating attractiveness in attracting investment.

Thanks to the good implementation of compensation and site clearance work, in recent months, a number of urban areas and many industrial clusters in the district have been invested in construction. The district also focuses on propagating and disseminating the Party's policies, regulations and policies of the State, the province and the district on land, compensation, support and resettlement policies, the important and urgent role and significance of site clearance work to each cadre, party member and all classes of people, to create unity in action.

Promote administrative reform, digital transformation in land management and land acquisition; improve and enhance the quality of the apparatus, staff, and civil servants doing compensation, support, resettlement, and land acquisition work. Establish cadastral records, determine the origin and list of land acquisition; land use planning and planning. Manage the current status of land use, especially for areas with land acquisition notices and approved land acquisition plans; promptly survey, measure, and count to prevent violations for profit in land acquisition.
