The bustling atmosphere on the training ground today is a vivid demonstration of the determination of the officers and soldiers of the Regiment. Behind that perseverance and will is the comprehensive and consistent leadership role of the Regiment Party Committee, affirming the core leadership role in the unit. In the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee of Regiment 2 has led the unit to comprehensively complete its tasks, exceeding many targets. In the conditions of a narrow training ground, scattered military areas, and frequent changes in cadres, in order to create a breakthrough in improving the quality of training, the Regiment Party Committee directed the promotion of combined strength, using funding from above and the unit's capital fund, investing over 10 billion VND and tens of thousands of working days to consolidate the training ground and training ground. In particular, the construction of the 91 high-point training ground, which was commended by the Military Region Commander, was replicated throughout the Military Region; more than 58,000 new models and teaching aids were made; Researched and effectively applied 214 technical innovation initiatives, many of which were widely replicated and effectively applied to training practices, typically "Fire target device", "Multi-purpose first aid bag for heatstroke and heatstroke"... The rate of officers at all levels with good and excellent training is always high: 83% of battalion officers, 80% of company officers, 72% of platoon officers; the annual training inspection results reached 100% of the requirements, over 82.5% good and excellent. Thanks to that, the quality of training has been increasingly improved, leading the Division in training for many years, in 2024 alone, it participated in 11 competitions and sports events at all levels, winning 8 first prizes and 2 second prizes.

Lieutenant Colonel Le Hong Quang, Party Secretary - Political Commissar of the Regiment, said: “We clearly identify that improving the quality of training is a key and continuous task. On the basis of thoroughly grasping and implementing the resolutions of the higher levels, the Party Committee of the Regiment has issued Resolution No. 399-NQ/DU on “Improving the quality of training in the period of 2023-2030 and the following years”; focusing on innovating training and fostering training cadres, focusing on improving qualifications, capacity, and training methods, especially new and weak contents. The regimental-level teaching team was established, selecting experienced cadres to teach young forces and newly graduated cadres. The Party Committee identified “Weak content, focus on overcoming that content”. We have organized dialogues, drawn profound lessons, resolutely and thoroughly overcome the disease of achievements, focusing on substantive training, substantive testing, and substantive evaluation”.

Not only focusing on training, the Party Committee of the Regiment also synchronously deployed solutions to build a disciplined system, improve the quality of Party work, political work, and maintain the ideological position in the unit. During the term, the Regiment compiled 18 political education topics, organized 12 political activities, built models such as "Smoke-free Youth Union", "Cultural Youth Union", "Young Theory Club"... The emulation movement "Military Youth forging virtue, training talent, being proactive and creative" developed strongly. Along with that, it was necessary to maintain good production models, ensuring 100% of the demand for green vegetables, 92% of poultry meat, 80% of pork, contributing to improving the lives of soldiers.

In recognition of its continuous efforts, in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2024, Regiment 2 was awarded the "Excellent Training Unit" Flag by the Ministry of National Defense ; in the Quang Ninh Provincial Defense Area Exercise (2022) and the Military Region Defense Exercise (2023), the Regiment excellently completed its tasks, was recognized by the Head of the Ministry of National Defense, and was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Military Region Command. The achieved results are an important premise for officers and soldiers of the Regiment to uphold their sense of responsibility, solidarity, proactively overcome difficulties, and be determined to successfully complete assigned tasks; build and maintain the Party Committee to excellently complete its tasks, and the Regiment is comprehensively strong "Exemplary, typical".
