13 mass groups participated in the parade
According to Tran Huong Duong, Deputy Director of the Department of Performing Arts (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism was assigned to be in charge of training with 13 mass groups. The groups practiced from August 12 to 19 at different locations in Hanoi .
Starting from August 20 to 27 is the peak week for the blocks to practice together at My Dinh Stadium. Under the direction of the Steering Committee for the 80th National Day Parade, the masses participated in both combined practice sessions on the evenings of August 21 and 24 at Ba Dinh Square.
Mr. Tran Huong Duong also said that the masses have participated in many major events, the parade, the march at the event to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory, or the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, the reunification of the country, but this time, the masses will be different, because the extras will act as real actors. Therefore, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will try its best to achieve the best results, meeting the expectations of the Party, the State and the People.
13 mass groups participating in the parade represent different classes and professions in society: Group representing the solidarity of Vietnamese ethnic groups, Group representing 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups, Group of Artistic Actors, Group representing Vietnamese Veterans, Group of Former People's Police, Group of Vietnamese Farmers, Group of Vietnamese Intellectuals, Group of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press...
Sharing her pride in participating in the training for this important national event, Lieutenant Colonel Le Thi Anh (Former People's Police Bloc - Hanoi City Police) said: "We have been training for over 2 weeks with the spirit of serving the Fatherland, for the honor of the People's Police force, for the joy and happiness of the people. We always try to train, maintain our health, and encourage each other to successfully complete the tasks assigned by the Party, State, and leaders, as well as the people's expectations for those participating in the parade."
Together with the Former People's Police Bloc, Lieutenant Colonel Vu Minh added that every day the comrades practice 8 hours, trained by the Mobile Police Command (K02 - Ministry of Public Security ). In the training team, there are comrades with the rank of general, 3 comrades who are former Presidents of the Association of Former People's Police at the district and county levels, and a number of female members.
“For the honor and prestige of the Association, the comrades have overcome many difficulties with their families, arranged work at home, and focused on living and eating at the headquarters of the Ministry of Public Security. Despite the harsh weather, rain, heat, and humidity... the comrades still seriously practiced according to the instructions of the Organizing Committee and the requirements of the Training Committee,” Mr. Minh shared.
Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee visits and encourages the masses
At the first mass training session at My Dinh Sports Complex (August 20), Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh and his delegation visited and encouraged the masses to participate in the parade at the 80th National Day Celebration on September 2.
As the Head of the Hanoi Parade Organizing Committee, Mr. Tran Sy Thanh praised and evaluated the members of the 13 mass groups who participated in the training with a sense of responsibility, seriousness, and completeness. Up to this point, despite the very hard training and the erratic weather, the forces still maintained a very high spirit of enthusiasm.
In that spirit, the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee also suggested that each member should continue to actively practice according to the program and plan of the Organizing Committee until the official holiday. The 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2 is an important political and cultural event of the country, not only showing an image of Vietnam changing, moving towards prosperity, but also introducing to friends and the international community about Vietnam united, united together towards the future.
“Participating in the event is also an honor for each member. Let us show our patriotism with our will and actions, maintain discipline... and the 13 mass parade blocks will leave a deep impression on our compatriots and international friends,” said Mr. Tran Sy Thanh.
Ready to stop "show"
Joining the crowd were many actors, artists from theaters, senior artists, People's Artists, Meritorious Artists... It was easy to see that People's Artists Le Khanh and Lan Huong were having fun during the break.
According to People's Artist Le Khanh, before joining the rehearsal, every artist was "in demand" but was willing to pause to immerse themselves in the heroic atmosphere of the nation. She herself, who also flew from Ho Chi Minh City, although her eyes were still stinging from lack of sleep, when the music started, she was very excited, forgetting all her fatigue.
“We often encourage each other, these are unforgettable moments because we are honored and proud to participate in an important political and cultural event of the country and all members become a part of history,” People's Artist Le Khanh expressed.
According to People's Artist Le Khanh, everyone was moved because the concept of "Fatherland" is so sacred, especially at this moment. Through this event, it shows that young people have inspired love for their homeland, country, people, sacredness, heroism, and national spirit in their own way. And that wave has been extended from the 30.4 Festival held in Ho Chi Minh City, resonating with generations until the A80 Festival.
For People's Artist Lan Huong, who plays the role of Hanoi Baby, she has witnessed war scenes through films since she was a child, so when standing in the mass force participating in the parade, she understands even more the value of the two words "Peace" for the country.
She shared that her family has a revolutionary tradition, and some of them are veteran revolutionaries, so the love for her homeland has permeated deeply into her, like a strong string that holds her back, unable to leave Vietnam. When she was able to participate in the rehearsal for the 80th National Day Celebration, she felt happy and proud to be Vietnamese.
One of the outstanding actors in the Arts Actors Block is Thu Quynh (My Soi) of the Youth Theater. Thu Quynh affirmed that being able to participate in training and participating in a major event of the country, not only me but everyone feels very honored, almost forgetting all fatigue.
In the spirit of “overcoming the sun and overcoming the rain”, everyone is united in trying to contribute their best to the Parade and March. As Deputy Secretary of the Youth Theatre, Quynh also actively participates in the movement activities of the Theatre and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism... Therefore, for Quynh, this training is an opportunity to practice, helping her to be more energetic and enthusiastic.
More than 1,000 people participating in the mass movement are ready to overcome challenges, determined to practice for the common success of the country's important historical event. Honor and pride are common emotions of generations, resonating and inspiring each other, contributing to strengthening the love for the homeland and country, thereby becoming more attached to the Fatherland of Vietnam.
