The 2025 National Excellent Chess Championship kicks off

VHO - Taking place from August 23 to September 1, the 2025 National Excellent Chess Championship has the participation of nearly 250 players from 25 units.

The organizers presented souvenir flags to the participating teams.

This is the tournament with the highest level of expertise in the national competition system, gathering excellent players.

In particular, the tournament has the participation of leading Vietnamese players such as: Le Tuan Minh, Tran Tuan Minh, Dao Thien Hai, Nguyen Duc Hoa, Pham Le Thao Nguyen, Nguyen Thi Thanh An, Nguyen Thi Mai Hung,...

Along with that are young talents who are growing strongly such as: Bang Gia Huy, Nguyen Quoc Hy, Dinh Nho Kiet, Tran Ngoc Minh Duy, Bach Ngoc Thuy Duong, Nguyen Hong Nhung, Nguyen Ha Khanh Linh,... All promise to bring an attractive, dramatic and competitive tournament.

The players entered the first event - rapid chess.

At the tournament, players competed for 14 sets of individual medals, including 4 categories: standard chess, rapid chess, blitz chess, super blitz chess and 3 sets of medals in Asean chess and Maruk chess for men and women.
