At 8:10 p.m., the show took place at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC), Dong Anh in heavy rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning. However, the audience exploded when the music resounded with the opening performance I am Vietnamese by singers Duong Hoang Yen and Anh Tu. Singer Duong Hoang Yen continuously stirred up the stage: ''Rain for memories, right everyone? No matter how heavy the rain is, it cannot drown out everyone's energy, right?''.

The program evokes each person's memories of their homeland and country, from childhood to adulthood. Aimed at young audiences, the organizers mainly chose contemporary songs about patriotism, composed by young authors. Many songs such as Nguoi oi nguoi o dung ve, Anh trai nuoc Viet , were remixed, suitable for Gen Z fans.

Interspersed with songs about love for the homeland, the artists performed many youthful songs with positive energy, receiving great response from the audience such as Remembering this trip forever (Duong Hoang Yen, Anh Tu), Going in the middle of a brilliant sky (Erik), and Sparkling rainbow (Duong Hoang Yen).
Due to the heavy rain, the atmosphere in the audience was not too exciting. Only a few people in the area stood and cheered along with the singer. At about 9:15 p.m., the rain gradually stopped, at this time, the program gradually "heated up" when the "older brothers" Erik and Quan AP performed. Quan AP was cheered by the audience with the new song - Nguyen Kiep Sau Van Nguoi Viet Nam .

At 9:53 p.m., many audiences cheered loudly when the Bac Bling melody played. Hoa Minzy appeared with a dragon dance troupe, the dancers wore one-piece costumes, stirring up the stage. At the end of the performance, the audience continuously shouted the singer's name.
When singing the song "Se Chien Thang" by musician Nguyen Hai Phong, Hoa Minzy wore a red flag shirt with a yellow star along with the dancers. She showed her ability to warm up the stage by leading the audience to shout "Vietnam" and "I love Vietnam".

After 10pm, the audience exploded when the last artist - Soobin - appeared. He thanked the listeners for staying until the end of the program. Before singing the song "Tro ve" (composer Duong Thu), the singer introduced this as a special performance, suitable for his mood when returning to his hometown Hanoi to perform. According to the script, Soobin would perform another song. However, he said that his health was not good, so he promised to sing it another time.

The program scored points in terms of sound, lighting, modern stage, many large LED screens with beautiful graphics. With the song Dan ta hat dan ca by Anh Tu, the organizers projected Dong Ho paintings and To Nu paintings on the LED screen. When Hoa Minzy performed Bac Bling , images such as Quan Ho village girls and Thap But pagoda were projected to create an emotional effect.

At the show, QR codes were displayed on the LED screen for the audience to support people in the Central region affected by storms and floods. At the end of the concert, the organizers announced a donation of 600 million VND, of which singer Duc Phuc contributed 150 million VND.
The concert Vietnam in me , directed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and coordinated by the Hanoi Opera House and related units, recreates the 80-year journey, arousing pride and love for the homeland and nation, especially among the young generation.

Previously, on August 20 and 21, tens of thousands of spectators braved the weather, waiting in line for hours to receive tickets to see the show. The organizers said they would give away 9,000 tickets, and thousands more were sent to military units, veterans, police, and schools.
On social media, many people have posted the first tickets for sale for about 1.5 million VND each. Some viewers who had queued but failed decided to spend millions to get a seat at the "national concert".
