Hanoi deploys "90 days, buffer" to clean up marriage data

(PLVN) - Hanoi has implemented a 90-day, night plan to clean up marriage data, integrate it into VNeID, and move towards cutting down on procedures for issuing marriage status certificates.

The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued a plan to implement the "90-day, night" peak period to clean up marriage data and reduce procedures for confirming marital status in Hanoi.

Accordingly, the implementation time of the above content is until August 31, 2025 and is divided into 3 phases.

Phase 1 to June 10, 2025 focuses on preparing basic conditions for connecting, digitizing, and cleaning up data on citizens' marital status at units under the Justice sector and People's Courts at provincial and district levels.

Phase 2 from June 10, 2025 to June 30, 2025 coordinates data updating, standardizes and synchronizes marital status information from the civil status database managed by the Ministry of Justice , the system for managing the handling and resolution of cases and matters of the People's Court managed by the Supreme People's Court with the National Civil Status Database system to display on the VNeID application.

Phase 3 from July 1, 2025 to August 31, 2025 deploys the use of marital status information on the VneID application to serve the settlement of administrative procedures and civil transactions, other requirements as prescribed by law. Organize a review of administrative procedures requiring the dossier component of marital status confirmation, and at the same time advise and propose to competent ministries and central branches on reducing the dossier component for administrative procedures requiring "marital status confirmation" to proceed to reduce the procedure of "issuing a certificate of marital status".

The City People's Committee assigned departments, branches, sectors, district-level People's Committees, and commune-level People's Committees (new) to disseminate to 100% of leaders, civil servants, public employees, and workers at their agencies, units, and localities the content of the plan, meaning, and importance of the peak period; requiring 100% of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers of their agencies and units to authenticate and integrate marital status information on the VneID application.

Along with that, the organization reviews legal documents and administrative procedures with components of the dossier requiring "confirmation of marital status" to propose that central ministries and branches cut down the procedure of "issuing a Certificate of marital status"...

The city leaders assigned the Department of Justice to preside over and coordinate with departments, branches, and media agencies to organize widespread communication during the peak period of cleaning up marital status data and reducing procedures for confirming marital status; to preside over the organization of a conference to disseminate the peak period of "90 days and nights" to clean up marital data and implement the reduction of procedures for confirming marital status. These contents will be completed before June 15, 2025.
