On June 10, the Hanoi People's Committee issued a plan to implement the "90-day, night" peak period to clean up marriage data and reduce procedures for confirming marital status in Hanoi.

Shorten the processing time of related procedures such as vehicle registration; recognition of father, mother, child; birth registration combined with recognition of father, mother, child...
To achieve this goal, the Hanoi People's Committee will implement 3 phases until August 31, 2025.

Phase 2 from June 10, 2025 to June 30, 2025 coordinates data updating, standardizes and synchronizes marital status information from the civil status database managed by the Ministry of Justice , the system for managing the handling and resolution of cases and matters of the People's Court managed by the Supreme People's Court with the National Civil Status Database system to display on the VNeID application.
Phase 3 from July 1, 2025 to August 31, 2025 deploys the use of marital status information on the VNeID application to serve the settlement of administrative procedures and civil transactions, other requirements as prescribed by law. Organize a review of administrative procedures requiring the dossier component of marital status confirmation, and at the same time advise and propose to competent ministries and central branches on reducing the dossier component for administrative procedures requiring "marital status confirmation" to proceed to reduce the procedure of "issuing a certificate of marital status".
The City People's Committee assigned departments, branches, sectors, district-level People's Committees, and commune-level People's Committees (new) to thoroughly disseminate to 100% of leaders, civil servants, public employees, and workers at their agencies, units, and localities the content of the plan, meaning, and importance of the peak period; requiring 100% of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers of their agencies and units to authenticate and integrate marital status information on the VNeID application.
The Hanoi People's Committee assigned the City Public Administration Service Center to coordinate with the City Police to adjust the information systems for receiving and handling administrative procedures of the province to remove file components requiring "confirmation of marital status".
