On the morning of June 13, immediately after arriving at Trung Tien village (Cam Trung commune), despite the continued heavy rain and strong winds, officers and soldiers quickly started helping people overcome the consequences of the tornado to soon stabilize their lives.

The officers and soldiers divided into groups to repair and re-roof houses, clear fallen trees, clean up the environment, collect, transport, arrange, and relocate items and property that were blown away.

Immediately after the tornado occurred, the Party Committee and the authorities of Cam Xuyen district also quickly directed local forces, organizations, and villages to promptly support people to overcome the consequences. At the same time, they requested local authorities to conduct inspections, assessments, and statistics on the extent of damage and propose support plans for severely affected households to stabilize their lives.

As reported by SGGP Newspaper, on the evening of June 12, a strong tornado accompanied by heavy rain caused the roofs of more than 30 houses of people in Trung Tien village (Cam Trung commune) to be blown off, and many properties to be wet and severely damaged.

Heavy rain and localized flooding also caused hundreds of hectares of newly planted summer-autumn rice in some localities in Ky Anh town to be flooded and damaged.
