Tran Cong Danh's first book is a collection of short stories called Paris, the seasons of love, as a mark recording his time studying abroad in France. Through 8 short stories, he brings to readers a sympathetic view, sharing the joys and sorrows, happiness and suffering that Vietnamese students studying abroad in France are experiencing.
Like a character in the story confessed: "In the capital of love, we still have to rush into making a living, between the pile of homework in the classroom and the endless nostalgia and longing for family and friends in our homeland."
After studying abroad in France, Tran Cong Danh decided to return to Vietnam to teach and work in the financial sector. The publication Is Money Bad? is the result of more than 10 years of experience that he gained after returning to work in Vietnam. The book provides important and necessary skills for many people, especially young people today. That is personal financial management and the path to financial happiness.

Launched with a purely literary book, many people were surprised when Tran Cong Danh returned with Is Money Bad? According to Tran Cong Danh, writing has been his passion since his high school years. After studying abroad, in addition to writing essays, he often blogged as a way to ease his homesickness, and at the same time, he wanted to share aspects of his life, work, knowledge and life experiences with readers.
“That is why, right from the first book, I chose the literary theme to share my life during my time studying abroad in France in the most gentle way. The second book is also a sharing after more than 10 years of working in the financial sector,” said Tran Cong Danh.
Tran Cong Danh confided that through the book, he hopes that young people will build for themselves the right mindset, attitude, habits and actions with money, so that it always goes hand in hand and becomes a useful skill for life.
Paris, the seasons of love and Is money bad? show the colorful pages of Tran Cong Danh's books with the interweaving of fiction and non-fiction. Not stopping there, Tran Cong Danh is also currently the Chairman of the Association Connecting Vietnamese Tea Cultural Heritage (under the Ho Chi Minh City Cultural Heritage Association). This is both surprising information and a promise of a book about the Vietnamese tea-drinking hobby that he will send to his readers in the near future.
