The work Blue Lotus (published by Kim Dong Publishing House) not only depicts the portrait of a great man, a great leader of the nation, but also shows the role of family, homeland, and traditional culture in nurturing Uncle Ho's patriotism, altruism, and great intelligence.
Writer Son Tung was a severely wounded soldier, carrying 14 pieces of war shrapnel on his body. Overcoming his illness, he wrote "Blue Lotus" with all his heart and love for President Ho Chi Minh . He traveled everywhere, met relatives and classmates, those who had contact with Uncle Ho to collect documents, creating a work that is both historically authentic and full of literature and emotion.
In 1982, writer Son Tung once told children on Voice of Vietnam that, after decades of recording, he considered the documents he collected and searched for to be an asset, because they were the stories of Uncle Ho's beloved brothers and sisters and many others. They had kept, connected their authentic memories and sent them to him, so writer Son Tung cherished them very much and tried to overcome his disability to be determined to pick up the pen and write Blue Lotus Bud himself.

According to speaker Bui Van Nhu, although he has read Blue Lotus many times, each time he reads it he still feels overwhelmed with emotion, which proves that the work has a lasting vitality. Blue Lotus is not only a novel but also contains many valuable historical documents. Each of these historical documents opens up many values that become lessons for us, in educating our children to form a noble personality. "Learning from Uncle Ho, first of all, learn from his style and behavior in daily life", Master Bui Van Nhu shared.
