Suoi Tranh tourist area is located in Suoi May hamlet, Duong To commune, about 10km southeast of Duong Dong town center. Visitors can buy a day tour from local travel agencies, or travel by personal vehicle along the Duong Dong-Ham Ninh route.
Entrance fee is 30 thousand VND/adult, 20 thousand VND/child.

When asking the locals about the origin of the name Suoi Tranh, some said it was because the stream flows through many grassy fields on the way, sweeping them downstream. Others said that the clear stream winding under the trees looks as beautiful as a long silk painting, so it was called Suoi Tranh to praise it. There is also an anecdote about a famous poet who once stopped by and named the stream.

From June to September is the rainy season in Phu Quoc, at this time the streams on the island are full of water, creating natural "swimming pools" or spectacular waterfalls.
Visitors need to prepare suitable shoes and clothes to move on bumpy, slippery trails.

This stream is about 15km long, originating from Ham Ninh mountain range. The slope is not too steep, so exploring Suoi Tranh does not have to work too hard. The trekking route through the forest will bring a feeling of relaxation, freshness and connection with nature.

Suoi Tranh also pleases visitors with its many open spaces and large stone slabs. Many families or groups of friends, after bathing in the cool stream, sip a sip of fragrant Phu Quoc sim wine, nibble on hot grilled fish and grilled meat by the stream, feeling refreshed and comfortable, forgetting all the worries and fatigue of everyday life.

In addition to immersing yourself in the cool water, visitors can also participate in activities such as taking photos, or simply lie down and relax listening to the sound of the stream and birds chirping.
The sound of flowing water alone seems to create a special "forest music", sometimes slow and leisurely, sometimes bustling and urgent, in different quiet moments or turns, mixed with the rustling sound of the wind.

Suoi Tranh is not too majestic but has a poetic and gentle beauty. A safe destination for most visitors of all ages, ideal to avoid the heat of summer.
Before or after experiencing Suoi Tranh, many tourists often combine sightseeing and exploring tourist attractions in the south of Phu Quoc island such as Phu Quoc Ridgeback Conservation Center, Ham Ninh fishing village, pepper garden, traditional fish sauce factory, Ho Quoc pagoda...

In addition to Suoi Tranh, Phu Quoc also has many beautiful streams such as Suoi Da Ban, Suoi Da Ngon, Suoi Tien, Suoi Mo... - names given by local residents based on natural features. Along with marine and island resources, the wild and vibrant beauty amidst the lush green forests has been and is creating many more attractive destinations for Phu Quoc tourism.
