Gasoline and oil prices increase from 3pm today

HNN.VN - On the afternoon of September 4, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance adjusted the retail price of gasoline every 7 days. Based on that adjustment, from 3:00 p.m. onwards, gasoline prices increased; gasoline prices alone increased for the third consecutive time.

Gasoline prices were adjusted up at 3:00 p.m. on September 4.

Specifically, compared to the previous adjustment period, the price of RON 95-III gasoline (a popular type on the market) increased by 70 VND, to 20,430 VND/liter, E5 RON 92 also increased by 80 VND, to 19,850 VND. Similarly, diesel increased by 120 VND, to 18,470 VND/liter. Compared to 7 days ago, kerosene cost 18,310 VND per liter, and fuel oil was 15,370 VND.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade , the world oil market has recently been affected by major factors such as: information about the OPEC+ meeting on September 7, 2025; the devaluation of the USD... The above factors have caused world oil prices in recent days to fluctuate up and down depending on the product, but the main trend is upward.

From August 1, the two largest petroleum market players, Petrolimex and PVOIL, will pilot the sale of E10 gasoline - a biofuel mixed with 10% ethanol in mineral gasoline. The Ministry of Industry and Trade is also proposing to sell only E10 gasoline from the beginning of next year.
