Gold price increased by 200,000 VND per tael

Gold price increased in the morning session of January 24.

At 9:00 a.m., Phu Quy Group listed the price of SJC gold bars at VND74.2 million/tael (buy) - VND76.6 million/tael (sell), an increase of VND200,000/tael each way compared to the end of January 23.

Saigon Jewelry Company Limited set the price at 74.2 million VND/tael (buy) - 76.7 million VND/tael (sell), 200,000 VND/tael higher than the previous day's closing price each way.

Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited also increased by 200,000 VND/tael each way, to 74.25 million VND/tael (buy) - 76.55 million VND/tael (sell).

Similarly, Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company increased by VND200,000/tael each way, to VND74.2 million/tael (buy) - VND76.7 million/tael (sell).

The price of gold rings remained the same in some places, and decreased by 50,000 VND/tael in others, commonly traded at 62.85-63.83 million VND/tael (buy) and 64.05-64.93 million VND/tael (sell).

The buying and selling price range for gold rings is 1.1-1.2 million VND/tael and for gold bars is 2.45-2.5 million VND/tael.

Yesterday (January 23), at first, the price of SJC gold bars increased by 300,000 VND/tael in the selling direction, to 76.3 million VND/tael, then increased by 200,000 VND/tael. Trading in the market was not active.

On the international market, also at the same time, the gold price was trading at 2,026.3 USD/ounce, down nearly 4 USD/ounce. The converted world gold price was lower than the SJC gold bar price at about 16.1 million VND/tael.
