SJC gold price continued to increase strongly in the opening session this morning (August 5), maintaining a high difference with the world price .
At 9:00 a.m., SJC gold price at Saigon Jewelry Company and Doji Company was listed at 122.2-123.8 million VND/tael (buy/sell), while Phu Quy Company announced 121.2-123.8 million VND/tael.
Thus, the price of SJC gold this morning increased by 500,000 VND/tael compared to the previous session's close, the difference in buying/selling prices was maintained by businesses at 1.8 million VND/tael.
Meanwhile, the price of gold rings also increased. At Phu Quy Company, the listed price of gold rings was from 116.7-119.7 million VND/tael (buy/sell), an increase of 700,000 VND/tael compared to the previous closing price; and at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company, the listed price of gold rings was from 117.8-120.8 million VND/tael, an increase of 600,000 VND/tael.
Notably, the difference between buying and selling prices of gold rings continues to be kept high by businesses, up to 3 million VND/tael.
In the world, the precious metal fluctuated around 3,381 USD/ounce, up more than 10 USD compared to the same time last session. This price is equivalent to 107.4 million VND/tael when converted according to the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank , about 16.4 million VND/tael lower than SJC gold.
This morning, the State Bank listed the central exchange rate at 25,219 VND/USD, down 21 VND compared to the previous session. With a margin of +/-5%, Vietcombank announced the USD exchange rate from 26,010-26,370 VND/USD; Agribank traded from 26,015-26,355 VND/USD, remaining stable.
However, Vietinbank traded from 25,999-26,359 VND/USD (buy/sell), down 21 VND; BIDV listed from 26,010-26,370 VND/USD (buy/sell), up 9 VND.
