Durian prices are stable in many localities.
The durian market today is less volatile, especially in the Central Highlands and Southeast regions. Thai durian grade A fluctuates between 75,000 - 80,000 VND/kg in many provinces such as Gia Lai, Tay Ninh, Binh Phuoc . In Dak Lak alone, this type reaches 78,000 - 80,000 VND/kg. Ri6 durian grade A maintains its price between 40,000 - 44,000 VND/kg.
In Dong Nai and the Western region such as the Mekong Delta, durian production is at the end of the season, so the purchase volume has decreased, and the price remains stable. Some warehouses continue to purchase at high prices for grade A and VIP goods.

Musang King low price due to quality influence
The price of Musang King durian grade A currently ranges from 58,000 - 63,000 VND/kg in provinces such as Dong Nai, Binh Phuoc and Dak Lak . This price is lower than that of Thai durian because many gardens in the Central Highlands are experiencing water and salt problems, affecting the quality of the fruit.
Currently, warehouses only purchase grade A goods, while grades B and C are almost not in demand.
Quality improved, price may increase in the near future
Favorable weather in recent days has helped improve the quality of durian, especially Thai and Ri6 varieties. This is an important factor supporting prices to remain stable and tend to increase slightly at some locations.
If the weather continues to be sunny and less rainy, durian prices may increase during the peak consumption season in China during the holidays and Tet.
Durian exports are flourishing again
According to statistics from the Customs Department, the export turnover of fruits and vegetables in the first half of 2025 reached more than 3.1 billion USD, of which durian accounted for a large proportion. Supply from Thailand is decreasing due to unfavorable weather, creating conditions for Vietnamese durian to expand its market share.
In particular, China highly appreciated Vietnam's quality control work. Enterprises have increased inspections for cadmium, yellow O dye and tightened packaging processes, helping to increase the rate of qualified products.
