Nearly 50 people poisoned by suspected bread in Vung Tau

Nearly 50 people in Vung Tau had to be hospitalized on the morning of November 27, suspected of bread poisoning.

On the afternoon of November 27, Dr. Tran Thien Truong - Deputy Director of Vung Tau Hospital - said that the hospital received 48 people admitted to the emergency room due to food poisoning that morning. Common symptoms were abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea, and fever. Some of them had low blood pressure.

By noon of the same day, 13 people had been discharged from the hospital.

According to the poisoned people, on the evening of November 26, they ate bread bought at the "CB" store at Ben Dinh intersection (Le Loi - Nguyen An Ninh street), ward 7, Vung Tau city.

After eating bread, by early this morning everyone had the above symptoms and had to be hospitalized.

Currently, Vung Tau City Police have assigned officers to verify and clarify the incident.
