Nearly 21 thousand tons of lychee were exported through Kim Thanh Border Gate.

With priority traffic flow and early customs clearance support, most trucks carrying lychees for export are cleared through customs in the morning through Kim Thanh International Road Border Gate No. II (Kim Thanh Border Gate).

According to information from Lao Cai Border Gate Customs, Region VII Customs Branch, from the beginning of the season to June 15, the unit has completed customs clearance procedures for more than 1,700 trucks carrying lychee for export, with a total weight of nearly 21 thousand tons, with a turnover of more than 13 million USD.

To facilitate the smooth and quick export of lychees, the authorities at Kim Thanh Border Gate have assigned officers and civil servants to work from 6 a.m. every day to handle customs clearance procedures; and arranged a separate lane for vehicles carrying lychees for export.

In addition, proactively exchange information with functional units in Hekou (China) to request facilitation and priority for customs clearance for fresh agricultural products exported from Vietnam, in which priority is given to fast customs clearance for lychee.
