After a long period of inactivity for appraisal and restoration, the People's Committee of Sa Dec City, Dong Thap Province has just handed over the national relic Huynh Thuy Le ancient house to Phuong Nam Cultural Tourism One Member Co., Ltd. to organize exploitation and collect tickets for visitors from December 15.
Besides sightseeing and photography tours, Huynh Thuy Le ancient house There are also new services, such as: Watching the movie "The Lover"; serving buffet of traditional Southern cakes; booths displaying and selling OCOP products...
Huynh Thuy Le ancient house in Dong Thap province
Huynh Thuy Le ancient house was built in 1895 with unique East-West architecture. In 2009, the ancient house was recognized as a National Monument.
It is expected that the entire restoration of Huynh Thuy Le ancient house will be carried out in 2024.
Previously, on the occasion of the event For the first Sa Dec Flower and Ornamental Festival, Dong Thap Province's Trade, Tourism and Investment Promotion Center has developed and organized 4 new experiential tours to serve tourists.
Accordingly, 4 experiential tours include: "Following the Lover's Footprint" tour program (2 days, 1 night) with activities visiting "Huynh Thuy Le Ancient House"; Sa Dec Flower Village; Sa Dec City Square; Xeo Quit Relic (Cao Lanh District); Go Thap Relic and Go Thap Countryside Market (Thap Muoi District).

Tour "Sa Dec Flower Kingdom - Green Heritage Journey" (1 day): Visit Sa Dec Flower Village; Sa Dec City Square; "Huynh Thuy Le Ancient House; Kien An Cung Pagoda; Lai Vung pink grapefruit garden; Dinh Yen ghost mat market (Lap Vo district).
Tour "Sa Dec - Buddhist Cultural Space in the heart of the ancient city" (2 days, 1 night): Visit Sa Dec Flower Village; Sa Dec City Square; "Huynh Thuy Le Ancient House and pagodas, ancient houses in Sa Dec city; Phuong Nam Cultural Tourism Area.

With the theme "Love of the land - Love of flowers", the first Sa Dec Flower and Ornamental Plants Festival will be held from December 30, 2023 to January 5, 2024. This is an activity to honor the flower and ornamental plant growing profession in Sa Dec; promote the economic value of flower and ornamental plant products, promote the development of the flower and ornamental plant industry associated with the development of agricultural tourism and the National One Commune One Product (OCOP) Program.
