Tourism activities achieved many impressive results. In the first 6 months of 2025, the number of visitors to tourist areas and attractions is estimated at about 3.5 million, reaching 63% of the plan, up 3.5% over the same period; total tourism revenue is estimated at VND 2,704 billion, reaching 100% of the plan, up 29% over the same period.

Cultural - artistic, physical training - sports activities are invested, innovated, diversified in form, attractive in content, serving people during holidays, New Year, events of the country and province. Tangible and intangible cultural heritages are preserved, promoted, enriching and diversifying the cultural identity of the locality, associated with tourism development. In particular, Tay Ninh is the third province in the country to issue the Brand Identity of Tay Ninh province to promote the image of the homeland, land and people of Tay Ninh.
At the same time, Tay Ninh province (old) has deployed QR code scanning application at 56 historical relics and tourist attractions in the province so that tourists can easily access information introducing destinations.
According to the leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the province has implemented many solutions to promote awareness and responsibility of authorities at all levels, businesses operating in the tourism sector, including tourists and the community in building and preserving the image and tourism brand of the province. Historical sites, tourist attractions and organizations and individuals operating in tourism have made efforts to invest in infrastructure and improve service quality to better serve the needs of tourists.
Meanwhile, Long An (old) is also considered a peaceful and hospitable land that is gradually developing tourism services to attract visitors. From eco-tourism to experience village life to sports, entertainment and recreation tourism. The work of building, preserving, renovating, maintaining and promoting the value of historical and cultural relics associated with tourism development and promoting the image of the land and people of Long An (old) is also being promoted.
In the first 6 months of 2025, the province has promoted the propaganda and promotion of destination images through smart tourism applications such as https://mylongan.vn, Long An Tourism app, Facebook Long An Tourism, Zalo Long An Tourism, dulichsolongan.vn, media channels inside and outside the province,... Thereby, it has attracted about 1,088,000 visitors, an increase of 36% over the same period, reaching 54% of the plan; of which international visitors are 20,100. Tourism revenue is estimated at 531 billion VND, an increase of 30% over the same period, reaching 53% of the plan.
Double the advantage
Tay Ninh and Long An are identified as two localities with different advantages, but in general, their activities have developed synchronously, each field has strong investment and development, bringing practical results. Festival management is strictly ensured, in accordance with traditional customs and traditions, meeting the needs of the people; the relics in the two provinces have decentralized management, investment, restoration and promotion of relic values.
Therefore, expanding the local development space will open up strategic opportunities for restructuring the tourism industry, helping to concentrate financial resources, human resources and infrastructure, creating favorable conditions for investment in socio-economic development and improving the quality of public services. At the same time, preserving and promoting cultural and sports values, strongly developing tourism, linking spiritual tourism with cultural - historical tourism, community tourism, developing green tourism, and developing tourism in a sustainable direction.
The goal by 2050 is that Tay Ninh will have a high-quality tourism industry; the organizational structure will be streamlined, the payroll will be reduced to help save regular expenses; public resources will be concentrated, infrastructure investment will be made, socio-economic development will be more synchronized; direct services supporting production, business and serving people's lives will be improved.

To merge the provinces without disrupting tourism activities, the two local authorities have launched a joint stimulus program in 2025. Specifically, Tay Ninh (old) announced four major tourism projects, including a thematic tourist area, a resort on Ba Den Mountain, and an eco-tourism area combined with medical services. These projects are expected to complete the first phase by the end of 2025.
In addition, the province also launched 4 programs for the market of visitors from outside the province and international visitors: Visiting Go Ken Pagoda, Cao Dai Holy See, Ba Phong Mulberry Garden, BaDen Farm Melon Farm, Ba Den Mountain,... launching Khmer cultural experience tourism products with the model of Learning about Khmer cultural heritage.
Long An (old) launched a tourism stimulus program with a promotion support package, service price reductions and activation of travel business alliances.
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in 2025, the province has set a number of key tasks in developing Tay Ninh tourism: Building value standards associated with brand identity images of Tay Ninh province, improving the quality of experience of people and tourists associated with the green development orientation of the province; strengthening tourism promotion activities at home and abroad.
At the same time, continue to drastically implement solutions to raise awareness of responsibility in preserving the image of Tay Ninh tourism brand, improve service quality to attract tourists to Tay Ninh./.
