UC Talent Project Won First Prize at SURF 2024 Innovation and Startup Competition

DNO - Within the framework of the Danang City Startup and Innovation Festival - SURF 2024, on the morning of August 30, the Department of Science and Technology organized the award ceremony for the Danang City Startup and Innovation Competition. Accordingly, the UC Talent project won the first prize of the competition.

After the selection process, the Organizing Committee of the Danang City Innovation and Startup Competition - SURF 2024 has selected 10 excellent projects to enter the final round held on the morning of August 29.

As a result, the first prize was awarded to the UC Talent project. This is a web3 platform that leverages the power of artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain technology to change the way recruitment is done.

The project connects talent with recruiting companies through an innovative referral mechanism with rewards on the blockchain, powered by smart contracts.

Second Prize was awarded to BINKS project - Vegetable Ink. This is a project to produce writing ink and drawing colors from natural materials and develop products that are safe for health through the application of advanced and optimal production technology.

Third Prize was awarded to the project “Vr360 Material Simulation Room”. The project is expected to solve market problems in the fields of: real estate, showroom, retail, architecture, interior in particular and the whole industry in general; difficulties of customers and businesses when choosing and displaying products.

The Encouragement Prize went to the TripIn project - A travel and cultural history dissemination application using AI & AR. The project uses AI (artificial intelligence) trained with standardized data to support explanations in historical sites and scenic spots in 32 different languages; allowing visitors to interact with AI as with a real tour guide.

The Prospective Award (presented by the sponsor) belongs to the ElevaBot project - A robot that cleans stairs in public places.

The project proposes a solution to create a Robot that can automatically move up and down stairs and clean them, to support and replace the cleaning work of janitors at the stairs in the most effective and optimal way.
