Specifically, in the 2025-2026 school year, Truong Chinh High School was assigned a target of 8 grade 10 classes with 352 students. Through the selection process, the school had 321 students admitted (23 students were directly admitted; 293 students were admitted for the first choice with an admission score of 16.25; 5 students were admitted for the second choice with an admission score of 16.5), 31 students short of the assigned target. The school proposed additional admission for candidates who took the entrance exam for grade 10 in the 2025-2026 school year but were not admitted to high schools in the communes of Bac Ai, Bac Ai Tay, Bac Ai Dong and the wards of Phan Rang, Do Vinh, Bao An, Dong Hai, Ninh Chu; the additional admission score is 16.25. The admission principle is to take the score from high to low to meet the quota. If at the final score there are many students with the same score, the following additional criteria will be applied, respectively: Total score of Literature and Math exam; priority status; classification of learning results in grade 9; average score of all five subjects of Literature and Math in grade 9. The application deadline is from now until August 11; the time to complete the additional admission and announce the results is August 14.
