Dong Nai proposes 4 rubber companies to hand over land soon for key projects

According to the report of the Provincial Land Fund Development Center, the unit is facing difficulties and obstacles in the process of land recovery and compensation for recovered land of 4 rubber companies, including: Dong Nai Rubber Corporation One Member Co., Ltd., Phu Rieng Rubber One Member Co., Ltd., Binh Phuoc Rubber Company Limited and Dong Phu Rubber Joint Stock Company.

The most problematic issue is with Dong Nai Rubber Corporation. Specifically, there are 3 land plots, with an area of over 10 hectares, with a total cost of over 5.2 billion VND, the Provincial People's Committee has approved the compensation and payment plan, but the company has not yet handed over the site. There are 8 land plots, with an area of over 217 hectares, the Provincial People's Committee has issued a decision approving the compensation plan with a total value of over 118 billion VND, but the company has not agreed.

In addition, the province is implementing procedures to reclaim and compensate for 8 land plots auctioned for land use rights with an area of nearly 350 hectares in wards and communes; reclaim and compensate for 7 land plots adjacent to traffic routes with an area of nearly 690 hectares for auction; reclaim and compensate for more than 2 million ^m2 of land to implement 3 routes connecting Long Thanh Airport (DT.769, DT.770B, DT.773) and reclaim and compensate for nearly 1,900 hectares of land to build 3 industrial parks.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha emphasized: The recovery and compensation of rubber land is of great significance to the socio -economic development of the province at present and in the future. This is an important land fund for implementing resettlement projects, urban areas, industrial parks and traffic routes.

The Provincial People's Committee leaders requested: Rubber companies closely coordinate with departments, branches, and the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to promptly complete the liquidation of trees, hand over land areas that have received compensation, and have specific plans for the remaining areas to ensure overall progress.

Regarding compensation for rubber trees, the province's viewpoint is in accordance with the law, there is no difference in compensation levels in the whole new Dong Nai province. Regarding the 4 contents proposed by Dong Nai Rubber Corporation Limited Company: additional compensation for fully depreciated assets, orchards in the basic construction phase, roads invested in the recovered land and the content of the land recovery notice, the Department of Finance will preside over and respond in writing to all 4 companies no later than September 20.

The provincial leaders proposed: Dong Nai Rubber Corporation Limited Company shall immediately hand over to the Provincial Land Fund Development Center the land plots recovered for auction in Dau Giay commune in November 2025 and liquidate the trees no later than December 2025. Other land plots planned for auction shall be handed over in December 2025. Land plots recovered for road projects and resettlement areas shall be handed over according to the province's plan.
