According to the reporter of Hanoi Moi Newspaper on the morning of June 28, at the headquarters of 5 wards in Dong Da district, cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers were busy cleaning, general cleaning, and completing the handover of work to operate the two-level local government smoothly and rhythmically.
At the headquarters of the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the new O Cho Dua ward (61 Hoang Cau street), many workers are constructing the remaining items, renovating the headquarters and the Public Administration Service Center to put it into official operation.
The Public Administration Service Center area, where administrative procedures are received, processed and returned to the people, has a spacious, airy and open space. Workers sweep and clean the rows of chairs, install facilities... The installation of equipment and digitization of administrative records and documents are also carried out synchronously. The goal is to ensure that all activities take place continuously and smoothly, meeting the requirements of serving the people right from the first days of operation.
The new O Cho Dua Ward includes most of the natural area and population of the wards: O Cho Dua, Hang Bot, Cat Linh (Dong Da district); part of the natural area and population of the wards: Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam, Trung Liet (Dong Da district); Thanh Cong, Dien Bien (Ba Dinh district). The new O Cho Dua Ward has a natural area of 1.82km2; population of 72,586 people.
At the headquarters of the Party Committee - People's Council - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam ward (279 Ton Duc Thang street), the cleaning and display of signs has basically been completed.
This is also the headquarters of the new Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam ward, after merging the wards of Kham Thien, Van Chuong, Tho Quan (Dong Da district); most of the natural area and population of the ward: Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam (Dong Da district); part of the area and population of the wards: Hang Bot, Nam Dong, Phuong Lien - Trung Tu (Dong Da district); Dien Bien (Ba Dinh); Cua Nam (Hoan Kiem district); Nguyen Du, Le Dai Hanh (Hai Ba Trung district); the new administrative unit has a natural area of 1.92km2; population of 75,009 people.
At the headquarters of the People's Committee of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam ward (188 Kim Hoa street), officials, civil servants, public employees and workers also completed the cleaning and handover.
At 202 Xa Dan Street, the "one-stop" department of Phuong Lien Ward (old) was upgraded to the Public Administration Service Center of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Ward, with the goal of quickly and effectively handling procedures for people.
These days, at the headquarters of the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Da new ward (59 Hoang Cau street), the working space is being rearranged and the campus is being renovated and decorated.
Right next door is the Dong Da Ward Public Administration Service Center, which has been renovated into an open, convenient, and scientific space, suitable for the service requirements of the new model. Many items have been completed inside to be completed before the official operation date.
After the arrangement, Dong Da ward includes the entire natural area and population of Thinh Quang ward (Dong Da district); most of the natural area and population of Trung Liet and Quang Trung wards (Dong Da district); part of the natural area and population of Lang Ha, O Cho Dua and Nam Dong wards; Dong Da basic administrative unit has a natural area of 2.08 km2; population of 81,709 people.
About 2km away, the headquarters of the Party Committee - People's Council - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kim Lien ward are also being renovated, cleaned, and rearranged tables, chairs, machines, documents, etc.
The new Kim Lien Ward was formed on the basis of merging the entire area and population of the wards: Kim Lien, Khuong Thuong (Dong Da district); most of the area and population of the wards: Phuong Mai, Phuong Lien - Trung Tu, Quang Trung (Dong Da district); part of the area and population of the wards: Nam Dong, Trung Liet (Dong Da district). The new Kim Lien Ward has a natural area of 2.43km2; population of 95,592 people.
At 896 Lang Road, the ward's officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers are also cleaning up, packing documents, completing work, and handing over.
This will be the headquarters of the Party Committee, the Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations of the new Lang ward. The new Lang ward was formed from Lang Thuong ward, most of Lang Ha ward (old Dong Da district) and part of Ngoc Khanh ward (old Ba Dinh district), with a natural area of 1.85 km2 and a population of 74,570 people. Here, the staff were busy cleaning the headquarters, and the nameplate of the headquarters was also replaced.

According to the administrative unit arrangement plan, Dong Da district will be arranged from 17 wards into 5 wards, including: Dong Da, O Cho Dua, Kim Lien, Lang and Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam.
