Presenting Decision No. 1517-QD/TW, dated August 27, 2024 of the Central Party Secretariat on appointing comrade Nguyen Huy Dung, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, comrade Nguyen Quang Duong, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Commission emphasized that comrade Nguyen Huy Dung is a young cadre with good political qualities, capacity and many outstanding achievements in work.

Comrade Nguyen Quang Duong hopes that in his new position, Comrade Nguyen Huy Dung will continue to strive, practice, promote his capacity and strengths, quickly grasp the work situation, and together with the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, be proactive, creative, and lead the successful implementation of goals and tasks. He also requested the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee to continue to maintain solidarity and unity, creating favorable conditions for Comrade Nguyen Huy Dung to excellently complete the assigned tasks.
Speaking at the ceremony to receive the assignment, comrade Nguyen Huy Dung expressed that being proposed by the Central Organizing Committee, mobilized and appointed by the Secretariat to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, being elected by the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Council as Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee is an honor, pride, and also a great responsibility.
Comrade Nguyen Huy Dung promised that in his newly assigned position, he will promote all his youthful energy, experience, knowledge, constantly strive, improve his political capacity, contribute with the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee, and the Provincial Party Executive Committee to promote the spirit of solidarity and unity, successfully complete all assigned goals and tasks, and bring Thai Nguyen to rapid and sustainable development.
Comrade Nguyen Huy Dung, born in 1983, from Hanoi , was appointed Deputy Minister of Information and Communications in 2020. He has made many contributions to improving Vietnam's ranking on the Global Cybersecurity and Safety Rankings assessed by the United Nations, from 100th to 25th; is a participant in researching, advising, chairing the editing and organizing the implementation of the Law on Cybersecurity; National Digital Transformation Project to 2025, with a vision to 2030.
