Attending the seminar were leaders of departments and units under the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Central Policy and Strategy Commission; representatives of the Department of Higher Education , Ministry of Education and Training; representatives of institutes, academies, higher education institutions, experts and researchers.
Speaking at the seminar, Comrade Vu Thanh Mai, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, emphasized that digital transformation and the application of artificial intelligence (AI) are having a profound impact on all areas of life, including education and training. In many important documents, the Party has clearly identified the key role of higher education and digital technology in leading innovation in the national system.

Comrade Vu Thanh Mai affirmed that for higher education, the requirement of digital, autonomous, flexible and interconnected governance is inevitable. Therefore, university governance needs to quickly adapt, innovate models and methods, ensure the exploitation of technological advantages, meet the requirements of training high-quality human resources, and serve the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country.
He suggested that scientists and experts focus on discussing a number of issues to better identify challenges and opportunities, core issues, and bottlenecks in university governance in the digital era. At the same time, they should share practical experiences, propose effective models, and provide practical policies and solutions to help Vietnamese universities improve their governance capacity in the digital era.
From there, it contributes to providing theoretical and practical basis for proposing policies of the Party and State on modernizing Vietnamese higher education, developing modern productive forces to meet the requirements of national development in the new era.

The presentations at the seminar comprehensively assessed the current situation and proposed goals and solutions to create breakthroughs in digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI) transformation, associated with building an advanced university governance model in Vietnam.
Many experts proposed key groups of solutions such as: Perfecting institutions and policies on AI application in education; building modern technology infrastructure, ensuring information safety and security; promoting training and fostering a team of cadres and lecturers with digital capacity; deploying AI application models in education; developing open data systems and AI application ecosystems for education...

Mr. Nguyen Trung Chinh, Chairman of CMC Technology Group, Chairman of CMC University Council affirmed that the seminar is an opportunity to share experiences, perceptions and shape solutions to build a more effective university model in the AI era.
At the same time, at the seminar, delegates listened to and learned from departments, ministries, universities, scientists, education experts, and technology experts who are directly involved in the digital transformation process and AI application in education.
