Up to now, the Department has issued criteria for selecting participating enterprises, including: National Brand Enterprises (192 enterprises), reputable export enterprises (about 200 enterprises), Top 500 Vietnam enterprises, typical private economic enterprises, innovative start-up enterprises... Timely removal of obstacles, speeding up implementation progress
Assessing the active participation of businesses participating in the event, Mr. Cuong said that the participating businesses were all aware of the purpose, meaning, and necessity of participating in this exhibition, instead of the economic efficiency goal like other fairs and exhibitions. However, during the participation process, according to the Trade Promotion Agency, there were some difficulties and problems regarding the progress of site handover, design requirements, short construction pressure, and large-scale exhibitions, so many contractors were overloaded, refused to accept construction or raised prices higher than the general level.
The Department of Trade Promotion has issued criteria for selecting participating enterprises, including: National Brand Enterprises (192 enterprises)
To resolve the difficulties and obstacles, on the afternoon of August 5, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh directed the convening of relevant parties including the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Vietnam Exhibition Fair Center Joint Stock Company (VEC) and participating enterprises to meet directly at the site. After listening to the report, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh gave instructions on the following 7 contents:
Firstly, all participating enterprises need to be facilitated by VEC to basically complete construction items before August 15, 2025. Product display can continue after that but no later than August 23, 2025.
Second, it allows businesses to design and construct at the same time to shorten progress.
Third, allow businesses to work 24/7 to ensure progress and quality of work.
Fourth, all suitable items are allowed to be constructed on-site, including painting, lime, cutting, sawing, etc., but VEC must be notified in advance for coordination and specific instructions.
Fifth, request VEC to hand over the site to all businesses to start construction from August 6, 2025.

Seventh, the design approval department of VEC must be responsible for clearly responding: if agreed, then confirm, if disagreed, then clearly state the reason and advise and provide specific instructions to the enterprise for timely correction.
According to Mr. Cuong, in order to carry out the assigned tasks, on August 6, 2025, the Trade Promotion Agency immediately submitted to Deputy Minister Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan to sign Official Dispatch No. 5870/BCT-XTTM to Vietnam Exhibition Fair Center Joint Stock Company requesting to implement the direction of Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh, urgently coordinate with enterprises to hand over the site, carry out construction to ensure the quality and progress of the National Steering Committee.
At the same time, the Trade Promotion Agency signed an official dispatch to send to participating enterprises to notify the direction of Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh for urgent implementation.
Mr. Ta Manh Cuong emphasized: With the theme "80 years of the Industry and Trade sector growing with the country", the spaces "Development Creation" and "Start-up Nation Building" will not only be a highlight showing the outstanding achievements of the sector through the ages but also a strong message about the aspiration to rise up, the creative spirit of today's generation of Vietnamese entrepreneurs with the spirit of creativity, national aspirations and the courage to integrate internationally. The event will take place from August 28 to September 5, 2025 at the Vietnam Exhibition Center, Co Loa, Dong Anh, Hanoi. |
