Unique “Banh Giay Space” at the Festival “Intoxicated by Bac Ha Autumn”

On the afternoon of September 1, within the framework of the Festival "Bac Ha Autumn 2025" organized by the People's Committee of Bac Ha commune, the rice cake making contest took place at Hoang A Tuong palace, attracting a large number of visitors to visit and experience.

The banh giay making contest has 10 teams representing 59 villages of Bac Ha commune.

At the contest, the entire process of making traditional rice cakes was fully recreated, from steaming sticky rice, pounding the cakes, making the filling to shaping the finished cakes.

The finished products on display are imbued with national identity, expressing the life philosophy and philosophy of the ethnic communities of Bac Ha commune.

The Organizing Committee awarded 1 First Prize, 1 Second Prize, and 2 Third Prizes to the outstanding teams.

At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 First Prize (to Na Lo village team), 1 Second Prize and 2 Third Prizes to the excellent teams.
