Russian, Lao and Cambodian military delegation visits exhibition of 80 national achievements
On the morning of August 31, military delegations from Russia, Laos and Cambodia visited the exhibition area of the Ministry of National Defense at the exhibition of 80 achievements of the country.

At the invitation of the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense , the Ministries of Defense of Russia, China, Laos and Cambodia sent military delegations to Vietnam to participate in the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. On the morning of August 31, after visiting the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the delegations moved to visit the exhibition of national achievements "80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness". The Russian Armed Forces delegation consisted of 33 servicemen led by Lieutenant Mikhailov Anton Vladimirovich, the block leader.
These are soldiers of the 154th Commandant's Regiment Preobrazhensky, a special unit whose history is traditionally linked to the legendary Preobrazhensky Regiment, a symbol of glory and honor of the Russian army. The Preobrazhensky Regiment performs ceremonial duties, organizes honor guards to receive heads of state and participates in major parades during important national events. Russian servicemen visit the Defense Ministry's outdoor exhibition area at the exhibition. According to the Ministry of National Defense, more than 430 weapons, equipment, and products of 60 types will be introduced at the indoor and outdoor exhibition areas. Among them are many equipment and weapons currently representing the Arms and Branches of the Vietnam People's Army.
The soldiers of the Preobrazhensky Regiment also represent the branches and services of the Russian armed forces: the Army, Navy and Aerospace Forces. Russian soldiers take souvenir photos with the Russian soldiers interacted and took photos with people visiting the exhibition. The Lao People's Army delegation participating in the National Day parade on September 2 includes 120 soldiers, including 20 soldiers who participated in the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 / April 30, 2025) of Vietnam, and 49 soldiers in the bloc participating in the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War (May 9, 1945 / May 9, 2025) in the Russian Federation.
