Delegation of National Assembly of Hai Phong city visits the National Assembly Standing Committee relic site in Tuyen Quang province

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On June 6-7, the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Phong city, led by Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the city La Thanh Tan, organized the program "Returning to the source" to visit the National Assembly Standing Committee relic site in Tuyen Quang province on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the first general election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026). On the side of the National Assembly Delegation of Tuyen Quang province, there was Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the province Ma Thi Thuy.

Attending the Hai Phong City Delegation were comrades: Duong Anh Dien, former Secretary of the City Party Committee, former Chairman of the City People's Committee, Head of the City's National Assembly Delegation, term 12; Nguyen Thi Nghia, former Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the City's National Assembly Delegation, term 13, 14; Tran Ngoc Vinh, Deputy Head of the City's National Assembly Delegation, term 12, 13; Bui Thanh Tung, Deputy Head of the City's National Assembly Delegation, term 14; National Assembly deputies of all periods and representatives of relevant units.

At the Ho Chi Minh Temple, the city delegation respectfully offered incense and flowers, expressing their infinite gratitude for Uncle Ho's great contributions. Before his spirit, the delegation pledged to forever have faith in the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam , to follow the revolutionary path chosen by the Party and Uncle Ho; to continue to promote studying and following Uncle Ho's ideology, morality and style, to uphold political determination, to unite to overcome all difficulties and challenges to excellently complete all tasks assigned by the Party, State and people.

Next, the city delegation visited and took souvenir photos in front of the Monument “Uncle Ho with the people of all ethnic groups in Tuyen Quang province” in the Nguyen Tat Thanh Square. It was at this square that in 1961, the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Tuyen Quang province were honored to have Uncle Ho visit and talk.

Delegates listened to an introduction to the residence and workplace of President Ton Duc Thang at the National Assembly Standing Committee Relic Site.

Visiting the Tan Trao National Special Relic Site (Son Duong District), including the following locations: Na Nua Shack, Tan Trao Communal House, the Memorial Site of Revolutionary Predecessors, the Relic Site of the National Assembly Standing Committee, the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Phong City and Tuyen Quang Province respectfully offered incense, flowers, took a moment to remember, and expressed deep gratitude and appreciation for the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh and revolutionary predecessors. The delegates vowed to follow the revolutionary path chosen by the Party and Uncle Ho; forever study and follow the ideology, morality, and style of President Ho Chi Minh and uphold political determination, unite to overcome all difficulties and challenges, and excellently complete the tasks assigned by the Party, State, and people. From there, they contributed their efforts, intelligence, and joined hands to build the two homelands of Hai Phong and Tuyen Quang to develop more and more strongly, contributing to the whole country firmly entering a new historical period, a new era - the era of national development.

The National Assembly delegation of Hai Phong city presented gifts to people and students of Vinh Tan village, Tan Trao commune (Son Duong district, Tuyen Quang province).

On this occasion, the City National Assembly Delegation visited and presented 10 gifts, worth more than 20 million VND in total, to policy households and students who have overcome difficulties to excel in their studies in Vinh Tan village, Tan Trao commune (Son Duong district). Currently, most of the households in Vinh Tan village are from Vinh Bao (Hai Phong city) who came to build a new life in Tuyen Quang province since 1977.

Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the city La Thanh Tan hopes that people from Vinh Bao hometown (Hai Phong city) will build a new life in Tuyen Quang province and continue to contribute to building the two homelands to become more and more prosperous.

On behalf of the leaders of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Phong city, the State Bank of Vietnam - Branch Region 6 presented 500 million VND to support Tuyen Quang province in eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses.

Previously, the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Phong city coordinated with the State Bank of Vietnam - Branch Region 6 and a number of member banks to donate 500 million VND to support Tuyen Quang province to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses./.
