Within the framework of the program, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Quang Ngoc and the delegation organized meetings, visited and presented gifts to families of policy beneficiaries in Dien Bien province and affirmed that the Party, State and people always remember and are deeply grateful for the sacrifices of heroic martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers for the independence and freedom of the nation. The great sacrifices, losses and contributions of generations of fathers and brothers are the solid foundation for peace, independence and development of the country today.

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Quang Ngoc and members of the working delegation kindly visited and encouraged the wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and families of policy beneficiaries to strive to overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives, continue to maintain and promote the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, and be a shining example for their children and grandchildren to learn and follow.

At the meeting, the delegation of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense also presented 50 gifts (1 million VND in cash and gifts worth 500,000 VND); the Military Region 2 Command presented 50 gifts (1 million VND in cash and gifts worth 500,000 VND); the People's Committee of Dien Bien province and the Military Command of Dien Bien province also presented 45 gifts, including 15 bicycles, to policy families, meritorious people and poor but excellent students in the area.
