On August 24, the Vietnamese Embassy in Mongolia coordinated with the Mongolian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) and the WeLead Pioneering Women Leaders Network to organize the Vietnam-Mongolia Business Connection Forum 2025, co-chaired by Vietnamese Ambassador to Mongolia Nguyen Tuan Thanh, Chairman of MNCCI B. Lkhagvajav and General Director of WeLead Nguyen Thi Tuyet Minh.
The event attracted the participation of nearly 80 businesses from both countries operating in the fields of import and export of agricultural products, consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, medical services, logistics, construction materials production and tourism.

Speaking at the opening of the Forum, Ambassador Nguyen Tuan Thanh emphasized that the traditional friendship between Vietnam and Mongolia is developing well, creating a favorable foundation to promote economic and trade cooperation. The Ambassador highly appreciated the potential for cooperation between the two economies, especially in the fields of agriculture, food, consumer goods, logistics and tourism.
Affirming that the Forum is a practical activity contributing to concretizing the commitment of the senior leaders of Vietnam and Mongolia in promoting cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, investment and tourism , Ambassador Nguyen Tuan Thanh expressed his belief that through the Forum, the business communities of the two countries will have more opportunities to connect, seek partners, expand markets, contributing to sustainable growth of bilateral trade turnover.
Ambassador Nguyen Tuan Thanh called on businesses of the two countries to actively meet, trade directly, exchange information and move towards establishing specific, effective and sustainable cooperation mechanisms to bring long-term benefits to both sides; affirming that the Governments of the two countries, relevant ministries, branches and Embassies will always accompany and support businesses of the two countries to access information, connect with partners, remove difficulties, and create favorable conditions to implement specific cooperation projects.

MNCCI President B. Lkhagvajav assessed the event as having special significance in expanding trade cooperation between the two countries, as an opportunity to share innovative ideas and experiences, and penetrate each other's markets. He also pledged to continue to facilitate bilateral trade, improve logistics, support investment projects, and expand cooperation in the fields of sustainable development, green economy, and digital transformation in the coming time.
WeLead General Director Nguyen Thi Tuyet Minh said the Forum is an opportunity to seek practical cooperation, from supply chain development, agricultural trade, medicinal materials, textiles, to digital transformation, sustainable development and community tourism. These are areas in which both countries have their own potential and strengths.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Minh hopes that the Embassy and MNCCI will continue to support businesses in implementing specific cooperation initiatives and building mutual support programs, especially in the fields of training, start-ups, innovation and international market development.
At the Forum, business representatives from the two countries raised many constructive ideas to promote more practical and effective bilateral cooperation.
Opinions emphasized the need to comply with legal procedures, support procedures for companies operating in partner markets, ensure quality standards of goods and packaging, in order to create conditions for products to penetrate and stand firm in each other's markets; measures to increase the number of two-way tourists, maintain direct flights; strengthen cooperation in the field of labor, facilitate the import and export of livestock meat and import of raw materials for production.
At the business-to-business (B2B) session, businesses from both countries were divided into groups based on industry and sector. In a lively, frank and open working atmosphere, businesses from both sides actively introduced products and services, exchanged information, discussed needs and strengths, and sought specific cooperation opportunities.
Many new cooperation ideas have been suggested, from promoting the import and export of agricultural products, meat and raw materials, developing the pharmaceutical and medicinal supply chain, to enhancing cooperation in logistics, construction, handicrafts and tourism.
The B2B working session not only contributes to strengthening understanding and trust between the business communities of the two countries, but also opens up practical and effective directions, creating a foundation for long-term and sustainable cooperation programs in the future.
