GIFPP Forum 2025: Global Action for Sustainable Peace and Prosperity

The forum was attended by many high-ranking figures such as: Mom Luang Kritthanabodee Charunroj - Chairman of the Advisory Council of the Volunteer Doctors Committee (POS) under the patronage of the Royal Thai Government; Lieutenant General D.Ch. Narawat Charoenrue - Director General of the Royal Thai Police; Mr. Dinh Hoang Linh - Vietnamese Consul in Thailand; and strategic advisors from the governments of the UAE, Dubai and many other countries.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the forum, Mr. Abraham Nguyen Quang Huy - Chairman of Vietnam National Startup Innovation Forum (VNSIF), Founder of GIFPP affirmed: “GIFPP is not just an event, but a global movement. Here, technology, innovation and social responsibility converge to solve urgent challenges such as climate change, poverty, inequality and health crisis.”

He emphasized the need to shift investment thinking from short-term to long-term, from pure profit to social responsibility, especially in cutting-edge areas such as AI, Blockchain, clean energy,education and healthcare. At the same time, he also called for empowering Gen Z - who will inherit this planet through education, technology and innovative startups.

Innovative thinking for sustainable development

The forum held two main discussion sessions, focusing on key topics: Innovation linked to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations and applying breakthrough technology to social impact investment projects.

The plenary session themed “Innovative Entrepreneurship & Sustainable Development Goals - New Directions for Sustainable Development” moderated by Dr. Martin Spraggon Hernandez (Strategic Advisor to the Government of Dubai & Abu Dhabi) created a remarkable buzz.

In his presentation, Mr. Roger Leitner - President of the Swiss-ASEAN Chamber of Commerce, stated: “Switzerland is committed to spreading the spirit of humanistic investment cooperation, where innovation not only brings profits but also opportunities for communities and the planet.”

In addition, Dr. Praveen Maghelal (Government of Abu Dhabi) shared experiences from impact innovation projects in the UAE, affirming the feasibility of combining green finance and advanced technology.

Ms. Tran Thanh Thao - General Director of ACI Capital shared about the vision of sustainable investment and social impact in the fund's long-term strategy, especially emphasizing the need for public-private cooperation to expand the innovation network.

In the second session with the theme “Application of AI, Blockchain, Fintech in impact technology investment”, Dr. Dinh Viet Hoa - Chairman of the Vietnam National Startup Association emphasized: “Global startups are not only an economic opportunity but also a driving force for social change, especially when supported by advanced technology.”

Mr. Tonny Tong - Vice President of Hong Kong Blockchain Association pointed out: "Blockchain technology can create transparency, trust and high efficiency in future sustainable development models."

International cooperation: A common direction in a volatile world

Within the framework of the forum, the official launching ceremony of the 9S UNION Global Economic Union took place - an ecosystem connecting startups, investors and international businesses. This initiative is expected to promote cross-border cooperation, inspire innovation, and spread humanistic values in investment and development.

Along with that are the signing activities of memorandums of understanding (MOUs) between representatives from 12 countries, committing to invest in at least 10 startup projects in many regions around the world.

“This signing is not only a symbol of cooperation, but also a concrete action towards a fair, transparent and socially responsible investment ecosystem,” affirmed Dr. Francis Gaudreault - National Strategic Security Advisor to the Government of Abu Dhabi.

He also highlighted the UAE's role in promoting green finance initiatives and investment security, and introduced the international cooperation model through 9S UNION as a strategic tool to reduce poverty and enhance global innovation capacity.

The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between representatives of 9S UNION and international partners demonstrates the commitment to take substantive, practical and effective actions for the common goal.

In addition to professional sessions, the forum also organizes networking activities such as B2B Meeting, trade - investment promotion, green technology demonstration and Gala Dinner on a 5-star cruise, creating an environment for cultural exchange and strengthening international community engagement.

In the context of the world facing many intertwined challenges from climate change, health crisis to global inequality.
