On the morning of September 2, at the Dien Bien Phu Victory Monument ceremony ground, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dien Bien province organized a cultural exchange program and sports competition to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, attracting a large number of cadres, soldiers, people of all ethnic groups and tourists to participate in cheering.

Right after the art program, the sports competitions took place enthusiastically, attracting a large number of athletes, people and tourists to participate and cheer. The diverse competitions, imbued with cultural identity and sportsmanship such as: Pa pao, bird's nest, rice cake pounding, sports dancing, basketball created an exciting and united competition atmosphere.
Competition activities not only contribute to improving the spiritual life and health of the people but also provide an opportunity for communes, wards and clubs to exchange, strengthen solidarity, and affirm the richness and diversity in the cultural and sports life of the ethnic groups in Dien Bien province.
In addition, the exhibition of publications and books introducing the August Revolution of 1945, the historical significance of the national independence day, and the development achievements of Dien Bien province and our country over 80 years of independence, created a lively and joyful atmosphere on Independence Day.
The cultural exchange and sports competition program is an opportunity for cadres, soldiers and people of all ethnic groups in Dien Bien province to review the glorious revolutionary tradition and pay tribute to the great contributions of generations of fathers and brothers who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
