Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism is a "phenomenon" in 2024 with a skyrocketing admission score. From 19 points (in 2022), it increased to 26.99 points (in 2023) and 27.43 points (in 2024) with the subject combinations M01, M02, M03, M07 combining high school graduation exam subjects and aptitude test scores. This is a rare high score in a local school.
Hanoi National University of Education maintains its position as a prestigious training institution with the benchmark score increasing steadily each year from 22.08 (2022) to 22.25 (2023) and reaching 23.43 (2024) according to block M00 (math, literature, gifted subjects).
Hanoi National University of Education 2 also maintains a high score. In 2022, the benchmark score was 33.43/40, equivalent to about 8.35 points/subject. After switching to the 30-point scale, the school still maintains its competitiveness with 23.75 points (in 2023) and 25.73 points (in 2024).
Hung Vuong University also made a spectacular breakthrough. The benchmark score in 2022 was 26, increasing sharply to 31.9 in 2023 and reaching 33.47 in 2024 on a 40-point scale. At this level, candidates must achieve an average of 8.36 points/subject to have a chance of being admitted.
In the Southern region, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education recorded an impressive increase, from 20.03 points (in 2022) to 24.21 points (in 2023) and 24.24 points (in 2024). The competition at the school is increasingly high as the standard is approaching the threshold of 8 points/subject.
Hanoi Capital University is one of the outstanding schools with the change of the scoring scale from 40 to 30. In 2022, the school will consider admission with 30.12 points/40, equivalent to about 7.53 points/subject. In 2023, the benchmark will increase to 23 points and continue to reach 24.45 points in 2024.

Hai Duong University also recorded a sharp increase, from 19 points in 2023 to 26.4 points in 2024. The group of local schools such as Dong Thap, Quang Nam, Quang Binh, Dong Nai, Tay Bac, Kien Giang also had a significant increase.
Dong Thap University increased from 19 points (2022) to 23.23 (2023) and 25.8 (2024). Quang Nam University also increased from 19 to 24.26 in the same period.
In general, the benchmark for preschool education is getting higher and higher, especially at top schools, candidates need an average of 8-9 points/subject to have a chance of being admitted.
