Telling his love story, Captain Nguyen Dinh Huu - Political Commissar of Company 10, Battalion 3, Regiment 4 said that in 2019, in the bustling atmosphere of mass mobilization work in Phan commune, Duong Minh Chau district, former Tay Ninh province (now Duong Minh Chau commune), he was arranged by the unit to stay at Ms. Phan Kim Loan's house.
In the early days, although the shared living space was still unfamiliar, it was the simplicity and sincerity of the local people, especially Loan's family, that helped him quickly integrate.
During his time on duty, Mr. Huu not only completed his professional tasks excellently but also actively helped Ms. Loan’s family and neighbors. He worked with the neighbors in the fields and gardens, listened to their thoughts and wishes, and shared their difficulties in life.

Ms. Loan shared: “Everyone here loves and creates the best conditions for the officers and soldiers to carry out their duties during their time in the locality doing mass mobilization. In Mr. Huu, I feel his enthusiasm, responsibility and simplicity. The intimate conversations after work, the times we take care of the house together, gradually bring us closer together, creating an invisible but strong and profound bond.”
After that mass mobilization, the two officially confirmed a long-term relationship, their love blossomed with a cozy, happy wedding in 2022. The joy doubled when their small family welcomed a cute, adorable son in 2023.
Ms. Loan said: “I never thought that through mass mobilization work I would find my life's destination. I felt in him a sincerity, simplicity, warmth and enthusiasm to help people. I am truly grateful that life brought him to me in such a special way.”
Due to the nature of his combat readiness training mission, Mr. Huu often has to work far from home and has little time to return to his family. During the days he is away from home, all the family burdens, from taking care of the children to taking care of the housework, fall on Ms. Loan's shoulders.
“Being a soldier’s wife sometimes makes me feel sad and lonely, especially when my children are sick and there is no one to share it with. Although it is hard work and I face many difficulties and challenges, I always try my best to make my husband feel secure in completing his mission,” Loan shared.
It can be said that the story of "going to the people's movement and getting married" of Captain Nguyen Dinh Huu and Ms. Phan Kim Loan is not only a personal love story but also a beautiful symbol of the close and intimate relationship between the army and the people./.
