Collaborate to build strong research teams
With the research strengths of both universities in the fields of Basic Science and Technology-Engineering, over the past year, the two sides have organized 7 collaborative research groups. The goal is to build strong research groups with sustainable and long-term cooperation between the laboratories of the two institutions as well as between Vietnamese and Korean researchers. Many of these projects focus on very "hot" fields such as:
- WHO,
- Semiconductors, and
- New materials.
All funding for these research activities is sponsored by the Korean Government . It is expected that in the coming time, the number of research groups and the scale of the project will continue to expand, promising to create valuable scientific works.
Medical Development and Internationalization Consulting
With a university hospital system of more than 600 beds and many years of prestige in medical examination and treatment for people in the Chungcheongbuk region, Chungbuk National University has a lot of experience in consulting on the development of Duy Tan University in the fields of Medicine and Nursing. As a training institution for Medicine, Pharmacy and Nursing for more than 15 years in Da Nang City, Duy Tan University always hopes to become a trusted address not only for medical training as it is now but also for medical examination and treatment for people in the near future. Chungbuk National University's experience and expertise, along with its commitment to maximum support for Duy Tan University in this direction, will certainly be an important resource for DTU in the future.
Prof. Dr. Koh Chang-seop - President of Chungbuk National University and Hero of Labor, Meritorious Teacher Le Cong Co - Chairman of Duy Tan University Council inaugurated the "CBNU Global Center" at Duy Tan University.
The clearest demonstration of CBNU's long-term commitment is the opening of the "CBNU Global Center" right on Duy Tan University's campus last April. This move came after CBNU became one of 30 universities selected by the Korean Government for the "Glocal University" strategic project. Choosing Vietnam and Duy Tan University as a destination shows the increasingly important position of Vietnam in Korea's education globalization strategy, expanding from economics to education, healthcare and innovation.
